Football is the far more popular sport, but I couldn't let the Rockets go.

All of them have been so frustrating, BUT the Astros went to the World Series and have had some great seasons and the Rockets have won two NBA Championships. The Texans have done NOTHING. I wouldn't care if they left town tomorrow. Just think, Kubiak is still the head coach, can you imagine and Wade Phillips is the defensive coach! It is hard to come up with an arrangement like that.

The Texans have been in existence how long? Compared to the above accomplishments of the Rockets and Astros, the Texans have done nothing. But they are a young franchise.

...not saying I'm satisfied with them. It's been almost a decade....but man it'll feel so good when they finally make the ps.

I guess there is some merit in the idea that if you wait long enough something good is going to happen. However, bad leadership can screw up almost anything.

I am also a TCU alum, so your ideas must be good.

True. I'm just hoping Wade can turn this pos defense around. If they suck this year....at least the staff will be completely different the next year. (granted...if there is a season)

Also....could be worse. They could be the Browns (win early....then decades of nada)

hah! my dad had season tickets to them. I barely remember the games, but I've watched a few on YouTube and it looked pretty cool.

Hard to say. My Houston sports love started with baseball and the Astros but then I started playing basketball and became a Rockets fan a couple of years before they won it all. The Texans team, while some on here are right in that they haven't achieved anything, has a lot of potential.

It's quite hard to choose IMO because each of the three franchises has put their respective fans through a lot of average play and frustration.

With that said, I'll go with Rockets, Texans, Astros in that particular order because the Rockets has the city's only professional championships, growth potential, and is pretty well ran. Texans because of the potential, players, and because it's football. Astros would be the first ones to be let go for me because I can't see the organization finding that "lucky break" any time soon (e.g. Bagwell trade, the farm system that produced Biggio, Roy O, etc., the arrival of Clemens and Pettitte, ).

IF i had a gun to my head and had to choose, i'd keep the rockets. but for all their warts, i'd hate to lose any of them.
