St Arnold's is incredibly overrated on this board, I got so excited about the christmas one and once I had it I was severely disappointed, its nothing more than an above average beer

And a double IPA, I'll pass

I got a six pack this morning at the HEB at I-10 and Bunker Hill. Tried to get some at Central Market, but they were sold out. I did however get to taste it there. Good stuff, and as expected, strong as hell.

Got a six pack at the Central Market on Lamar in Austin. Hope it's better than the #10.

I was at HEB near Sienna Plantation getting a Money Order and someone came up to that same customer service counter asking for it and they had it there at customer service. Didn't plan to get it but since I was there I picked up a 6 pack.

I also don't understand why some of you think it is some kind of hunt to find any st arnold seasonal beer, they sell it at every grocery store around town, at least they did for the christmas one

These are not seasonal, but special, limited brews.

"For the previous release, Divine Reserve No. 10, challenges in the brewing process yielded less than 2,000 cases and three dozen kegs, causing people to skip work and line-up as early as 6 a.m. to buy a six pack. The brewery claims they doubled production on this batch when it was brewed back in February, making 4,123 cases and 35 casks, to make it easier for you to get your hands on some." - Austin360.com

Divine Reserve is far more limited than the seasonal ales. They are usually fairly difficult to obtain unless you plan it out. It's not like you'll be able to walk into a Kroger next week and pick one up.

The Christmas Ale is never hard to find when in season. I think you're talking about the Divine Reserve #10 thread.

And, BTW DonnyMost......the Saint Arnold Christmas Ale still sucks compared to Shiner Holiday Cheer!

Yeah Christmas Ale is never hard to find. It may have been early in the season before they'd started selling it everywhere. During December though you can find it everywhere. The Divine is something you'll never see on the shelves. It's only sold in select stores for a few days a year, and it runs out quick.
