Both are from today's Chronicle Girl pistol-whipped mom to buy her a car FORT MYERS, Fla. — Authorities in southwest Florida say a 17-year-old girl pointed a gun at her mother, pistol-whipped her and forced her to drive to a dealership to buy her a used car. The sheriff's office in Lee County said Monday that the teen has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, among other counts, and was being held at a juvenile detention center. The Associated Press doesn't identify minors charged with juvenile crimes. According to officials, the mother said she didn't want to press charges because her daughter had been accepted to several Ivy League schools. Authorities said they decided to arrest the teenager after learning that the gun had been stolen last year. The teen was not charged in that crime. Woman chokes Wal-Mart greeter over receipt ELYRIA, Ohio — Police say a pregnant woman and her mother were arrested after the older woman choked a 71-year-old Walmart greeter while leaving the store. Elyria police say 49-year-old Toni Duncan, of Elyria, was asked to show a receipt Saturday and responded by pushing a cart into the greeter, grabbing his throat and choking him. She was charged with assault. Her daughter, 21-year-old Ashley Jackson, of Elyria, was charged with aggravated menacing and inducing panic. The (Lorain) Morning Journal reports that she's accused of saying she would blow up the store and that the greeter would be dead when her boyfriend learned of the incident. Both face a court appearance Wednesday. No attorney for either was listed in court records, and no working phone number was found for either.

How about an inspiring Father-Son story? This reminds me of the great times me and my father used to have. Going to Rockets games at the Summit, Oiler/Astro games at the Astrodome, fishing together in Galveston, getting shot while fleeing from the cops after a high-speed chase that started when dad threw mom out of a moving truck and kept driving... I can only hope that one day I can pass on these great traditions to my son(s).
She was accepted to several Ivy League schools already? Decisions don't come out until tomorrow and Thursday.
I honestly wanted to read some inspirational stories, instead I got the average everyday **** story about how terrible people are
What? Are you saying you were not inspired to pistol whip a loved one for financial gain? Why, just now I robbed my grandma at knifepoint in order to go shopping at Walmart. Hope that old man greeter keeps his mouth shut.
Just saw the story on the news earlier and the girl's name is Rachel Hachero. She's actually pretty cute...such a shame =\
Hahaha, the second story, they attack the greeter. I'm sorry maybe I'm a bad person for finding this funny but how easy would it be to just ignore the greeter asking for your receipt if you really wanted to? How stupid do you have to be to start choking someone in the middle of a camera-filled wal-mart? And making bomb threats? Where is the cctv footage of this so we can point and laugh at these sluts?
said ivy league school is defintely going to rescind their offer also sounds fishy that no charges will be brought.. buyer's remorse?
