How many people go to UH on these forums? I would reckon quite a few. I'm a freshman staying in Cougar Village for the rest of this year then Cambridge oaks next year. Perhaps any alumni?
Cougar Village are the new freshman dorms, no? You can thank me and my donations for building it for you. Cambridge Oaks kind of sucks, fyi.
I heard the only academic major that you should ever consider going to UH for is Business or Football.
I am a proud UH alum. I double majored in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. For all of the haters talking about Cougar High and how much UH sucks... suck on this http://www.entrepreneur.com/slideshow/217334.html. No need to argue with them, just make the most of your time there and enjoy every moment of it. I loved my college experience and it made me into the man I am today. The Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship is no joke. I am living proof.
In before bigtexxx? UH runs in my family... my parents went there, a cousin of mine went there and now works for Halliburton, another cousin is a grad student in pharmacy, and yet another cousin is studying.... something, I never bothered to ask her. Definitely had serious thoughts about going here. Of course, I wanted to break everything and be the first person in the family to go to school outside of Texas.
Alum. BBA - Management. 95. It's worth it. Due to UH, I've traveled the world. Own yachts, exotics cars and pets. Women love me. Charlie Sheen frequently asks to borrow my black book. The Shocker U...FTMFW!
I went to UH for undergrad (finance) and now I go to UH law. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at the school.
LOL.. I lived in cambridge oaks in 2002-2003. They f-ing suck! Management blows! Worst experience as a tenant in my life.
I am a UH alum and proud of it. I have degrees from several universities and UH was the most urbane and international of all. By far the greatest percentage of international students. Almost all my professors were from other countries.
Current UH student majoring in Supply Chain Management. I suggest you take the Cullen Oaks (lived there last year) or Bayou Oaks route over Cambridge. Place is straight trash and haven't heard anything good about it.
2005 Alum, BS in Economics/Finance. Currently pursuing my Masters in Construction Management. Cougar Blood is better than Tiger Blood.
HRM major class of 2001 here. I think the Hotel and Restaurant school was #2 in the country when I was there.
