If Wade does not get in the first team, it doesn't mean he was shafted. Rose deserves the first team, and Kobe is arguable. But what did you expect? Wade banded up with the best player in the game and one of the top PFs of last season. Yet they are one of the worse teams against +.500 and they only have the 6th best record in the league. If the Heat were the top 2 teams, there is no question he'll be on it, but he isn't and you can't expect the media to hype up somebody who took the easy way out but isn't living up to expectation.
again, it's not a TEAM achievement. it's an INDIVIDUAL achievement. we're not talking about MVP voting here, which you are doing. like i said before, tmac was the best player of the worst team in the L in 03-04 and still made all-nba 2nd team. why? b/c he had one of the best statistical lines that year. for wade to put up those types of stats playing with the best player in the league is amazing. even durant had a slight decrease in his stats with westbrook's emergence.
You just completely ignored my previous point where I said there have been players on the all nba first teams that were not putting up the best stats.... And McGrady was not in the first team in 03-04 (a fact you made up). He was however on the first team of a WINNING team in 01-02 and 02-03. They were far FAR from the worst team in the league, which is a fact you pulled out of your ass. McGrady was also putting up ridiculous numbers, arguably the BEST one of the best or if not THE best statline in the league. Wade is getting an easier time than everyone else in the league, and you're surprised he is putting up good numbers? Rose's assists, FG and scoring will soar skyhigh if he played with Lebron.
in 03-04, he was all-nba 2nd team. that's a fact. do you even read my posts? and his team had 19 wins that year, the worst in the L. wade put up superior stats when he had to play by himself or with shaq. do you know how hard it is to team with a player that basically plays the same style as you? 24 and 8 (rose's #s) on 44%fg would be considered a "down year" for wade if he had to lead a team by himself.

You fail to realize the fact with the best player playing with you, you get a lot more open shots and opportunities which makes it easier for you to score. When the offence is dead, Miami always has three options to bail them out, while Chicago only has the option of dumping it to Rose and let him try to bail them out with the shot clock down and the offence dead.
He was in the 2nd team, not the first, but that is not even the point of my argument. Does he deserve the 2nd team? It's arguable, he was putting up amazing stats. But like I said, they don't count JUST stats, they count the wins.

yes there were. tmac had a bounce back year and only made it to 3rd team. that was kobe's worst year since becoming a star. he shot 43%, his team didn't make the playoffs. AI, nash, wade, tmac, ray allen all had superior years.
Your favorite stat disagrees, http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/holl...spn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics?year=2005 Kobe's the most efficient guard in NBA statistically in 04-05 and he's only 3rd team. What a robbery.
The end-of-year teams have been meaningless ever since they started giving Kobe first-team all-D year after year (watch him get it again this year LOL).
Lakers won 34 games in 04-05 and Kobe only played 66 games. He was the only guard voted to any of the teams that didn't make the playoffs. And his PER was just a hair above Iverson's and Wade's -- statistically insignificant. The other guards were Steve Nash, who was well deserving of his 1st team selection as he was the MVP, and Ray Allen who led the Sonics to 52 wins that year. Robbery? Silly.
It's tmac_1's argument this should be an individual award, team success doesn't count. It backfires, doesn't it?
