I was at that game. A buddy had SRO tickets and invited me. We moved during the game, but ended up watching most of the game from behind the Crawford Boxes, and that shot hit right over our heads. I really thought we were going to the World Series after that. I thought it was a foregone conclusion that we'd get one in St. Louis.

Wow what a roster we had that year. I had forgotten what it was like to have a competitive team.

    <3 playoff baseball.

Those years were fun, man....that line up. :(

Nothing was more fun than watching the post season games at buffalo wild wings when I couldn't attend the actual game.

Dam I hate Jim Edmonds, that dude destroyed the Stros every single year. That said, out of all the times he killed us with his bat, if the fool doesn't make the greatest catch I ever saw on Ausmus in game 7...we probably win the pennant.

yea beltran tore it up.. thats the only reason he got that contract. he tied bonds for the most homeruns in a single post-season and he did it in about half the games.. tavarez broke his hand after giving up the golfball homer to beltran when he punched the phone.. looking back i guess it was all for the best that he went to NY because atleast were not tied to beltran for 4 more years. hes been often injured and isnt close to being the player he was in that 04 playoff run.. he played out of his mind. do you have the video of his game saving catch in the kent walk off game..
