Well, My neice evidently spilled MILK in my car.
My neice evidently did not TELL ME she spilled it
    so
Two days later. . . the sour milk smell shows up.
I have tried baking soda . .. tried FaBreeze
I am thinking it soaked through it . . . and spoiled.
    I have tried scrubbing it

    It is driving me crazy . . . .

You have to pull the carpet up and replace the jute (padding) underneath it.

Have you tried soaking it with something that would kill the bacteria giving off the smell then using something like a Shop Vac to get it up?

place a cup of coffee grinds in there to soak up a little bit of the stench.

That's what I was going to say to do.

A cup, or open ziplock bag of grinds in the door pockets would help with the stench.

The other day I spilled tarter sauce in my friends car. I didn't tell him about it and there were 3 other people in the car as well, so I'll let him figure out what happened.

If you can somehow get your hands on one of those Alpine Ozone Air Purifiers(they're very expensive). Put the purifier in your car with the doors and windows all closed, run it for a couple of nights in the row, whatever horrid stench their was will be gone completely, odors are no match for O3!
