Kyle Lowry is a dumbass. Doesn't he know you are supposed to pad your stats in the year BEFORE you become a free agent, not after you are locked up for 5 years? His family in Philly are ****ing starving because Kyle is so dumb. Can't afford no cheese steaks.
LOL. I'm just glad he didn't break out like this last season. This is looking like one of the best bargain contracts in the league.
thanks for posting.....i thoroughly respect how morey takes the time out of his busy schedule in order to give us fans his perspective on the team.
Thanks for the link. I'll leave it up to hsf09 to do his usual great transcriptions, but I transcribed a part of it below where Morey talks about the trade, which I found interesting. Specifically he talks about the value of Battier and the risk of trading a veteran, especially to a coach.
I think he is in Europe checking on our Euroleague prospects. I could be wrong but he was tweeting about a Euroleauge game earlier with some of our players who we drafted.
Which again shows incompetence if that is the case. Eliyahu is a very good player and Macvan would be a good draft choice, but there are much better players in that game than either of them, particularly San Emeterio that is just flat out superior by far. But he is only apparently interested in certain players............going there on the Rockets' money and time and essentially doing nothing in evaluating some great players that would greatly help the Rockets like Huertas, Teletovic, etc. It is obvious that Morey is incredibly overrated by this Houston fan base.
If he was interested in certain players that we don't have the rights to, he obviously wouldn't publicize it at this stage.
So which players or player was he there to scout then if it was not Eliyahu (Rockets rights player) or Macvan (only player that is draft eligible)?
How would any of us know that? Again, whichever players the Rockets are interested in outside of their own players they're not going to publicize. It wouldn't be in their interest to do so.
