Hollinger on the race for 7 & 8 in the Western Conference... West's injury gives Houston a glimmer of hope, but as he mentions, even if NO wins just 4 of their remaining games, Houston would have to go 8-2 to sneak in. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/insider/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&page=PERDiem-110325
Yeah, I'm not feeling too confident. New Orleans will be under a lot of pressure, but they still have Chris Paul, they have Landry filling in for West, and they'll probably buckle down and win enough to stay in. Not looking forward to being the winningest lotto team... again.
As long as it is possible, well, it's possible. Gay goes down, now West. Duncan already down. The door isn't open by much, but it is still open. And SA in the first round is not out of the question. We might it even have a chance. When and if we are eliminated. Then it is done, but it is not done. Enjoy the ride.
Yeah...it will be harder to beat out NO than Grizz...I hope NO beats the Grizz the 2 games the have left with each other.
David West out for the season. To me, he is their scoring threat. Almost every play goes through CP3 and West. The hornets are going to struggle in the post...big time. Sad for the injury, but hopeful we can take advantage of it.
Dude, are you being funny? The Rockets are playing their most exciting basketball right now and you want it to be over. GTFO
No he's serious, he's been wanting the rockets to lose since he joined. He use to come in game threads posting his annoying w/l predictions with the rockets losing like every game
hopes of catching New Orleans slim Even without David West, New Orleans is a very potent team with Chris Paul, Emeka Okafur and ex-Rocket Carl Landry. I'd love to see Carl Landry flourish and do well with his new team, but at the same time, I'm hoping the Rockets do get to catch New Orleans in the standings. Damn! Why did they have to trade Carl Landry????
