Things you WISH the cops would pull people over for?

Dip****s that text or talk on the phone while driving. Without hands free of course. Also, those who don't use turn signals. Its bad out here in California.

On a related note, it irks me to no end when someone stops a car length from the car in front of them at a light.

 

People who are the first car to pull up to a red light and they stay/get in the right lane when not turning right. Why not get in the middle/left lane you selfish ass?

 

People who flash their lights at you for no real apparent reason.

Infuriates the **** out of me.

it makes me more mad when they were on the left lane and decides to cut right in front of me just to block me off

 

Driving 40 on the freeway for no reason whatsoever. If 60 is too fast for you, maybe you shouldn't be driving on the highway.

My issue is that people don't know the dimensions of their car. The barely pull into the median and leave the rest of the car blocking the left lane, maybe the middle lane too, and they have plenty of room to pull up to allow traffic on one side to pass without pulling into traffic on the other side.

Cops/Paramedics that flash their lights, run a red light, and then turn them back off. ****ing assholes.

1) Throwing cigarette butts out of your window. No ash tray? Get your own or quit! Littering is littering!

2) Illegal turns, specifically @ Richmond and 610 coming from inside the loop. The 2 left lanes there used to both go left, but now just the far left one does. Of course the 2 signs stating this or the lines on the ground don't stop numerous people from turning from the lane that now goes straight. Just suck it up, go straight and make a U-Turn instead of risking an accident. I turned there once because I was going to Best Buy after work, so I had to get into the far right lane. Well the person in the next lane over decided to turn as well (there's an obvious and clear as day sign at the light (one before it as well) that literallys hows the 2 lanes and which directions they go!) and had the nerve to get po'd at me and honk non-stop because I had cut them off. I wish they'd put a camera there, or if they just had a cop sit there all day, they'd make a fortune in tickets.

3) Blaring music....I have my own radio, thank you very much for your consideration though.

What always makes me laugh, and gets on my nerves....

I'm in the left lane and have nobody in front on me, I look up ahead and in the lane to my right I see a car right on the tail of another one because they're going too slow. They decide to pull into my lane and go around them, but don't get back into their lane. Well I'm still going faster than them so I end up on their tail...basically the same situation they were in at first, except now they're the ones going too slow. The sad thing is, I'm only going about 5mph over the limit. It just drives me crazy when people are too stubborn to get over when they have a line of cars behind them and/or people are constantly going around them.

Just so your blood pressure may take a break. It is actually legal to turn left across solid double yellow lines. It is illegal to PASS on solid yellow lines and it is illegal to turn or pass on double white lines.

Cars and trucks that have extremely high/bright lights. Especially jacked up trucks that are 4 feet taller than the norm. I drive a 4-door sedan and I get blinded from behind on freeway by these idiots all the time.

 

It will amaze you how many are completely clueless about this. Mention your feelings to people you know and observe the puzzled looks.

I'm being completely serious. The people that do it aren't really being selfish, they are clueless.

 

I pretty much hate every other driver out there. If you are in front of me, then I HATE YOU because you haven't moved out of the way and I'm in the fast lane. I get over when people want to pass in the fast lane before they get on my tail. Why can't you?

Granted, anything goes in the other lanes. But, not the damn fast lane. That's how most of us on our driving game get past all the idiots...until the idiots start texting in the fast lane or even driving the speed limit in the fast lane.

The absolute worst is when everyone starts leaving work. The first thing they do is get on their cell phone and pretty much forget about driving at that point. They are more concerned with their phone call then driving proper.

I think I agree with everyone here.

The cops should enforce all laws against *other* people who either do stuff that bothers me, or in any way impedes my progress.

And they should leave me alone.
