    It better. Plus, if the rox can beat miami--that would help.

    Don't complain about luck, despite Hornets win our playoffs options increase dramatically after today.

    It's not a stupid statement. It's just an ignorant reader.

    Sounds pretty stupid to me. You equate the rockets luck as to be so bad as to cause David West's knee to buckle, thus improving Chris Paul's play to keep them in the playoffs race down the stretch. Anyways, this is my last post about your post, before it gets out of hand into a shouting match.

    Okay I am not going to respond to this idiot . Obviously he is to ignorant to read a post that talks about Gods and understand the meaning. I don't even know if their are mythological gods are not. It's a statement that means we are having bad luck as a team.

    What I will say is this has been one of the toughest Rockets seasons I have been through. We have lost every close game. We have had every injury possible. And when we are finally playing great basketball the team we are closest to catching is also. So now when it looks like Paul is in some kind of funk and the Hornets about to self destruct Paul starts playing good. That is bad luck. He is to stupid to get that.

    I do not want West to get injured. Nor do I believe in any kid of mythological god that would do that. What I do feel is our chances of making the playoffs are getting slimmer and slimmer. ANd for whatever the reason paul played much better at the end of the game and so did the Hornets team than he did anytime previously. ANd that is pretty obvious to anyone who watched the game. If you are so ignorant to believe that there are real gods out there that injured West to make us have a harder time making the playoffs. Well that's your stupid problem not mine.

    What more can be said in this thread? Although West is down and injured, NOH won and the rockets playoff chances continue to look gloomy.

    All is not lost just yet. With the injury to West, the Hornets still maybe can pull a major choke job. Here is what I mean:

    @PHO - L
    @LAL - L
    POR - L
    MEM - L
    IND - W
    HOU - L
    PHO - W
    @MEM - L
    UTA - W
    @DAL - L

    The Hornets finish 44-38 and we get in with a 45-37 record (which is doable for us).

    The way the teams ahead of us seem to keep winning, it seems like destiny is just against us this year. We dug ourselves too much of a hole early.

    People are missing it. I've never seen Paul look so pathetic. And I've never seen at player so committed to getting his and never passing once he touched the ball as West. At one point Paul was screaming to the coach about West play and he just looked angry out there but not at the other team. That combination is bad for winning. The Jazz looked pathetic and almost won tonight but what happened is Paul picked up his game after West went down. You could see it in his bounce and his eyes. The Paul of old has been awaken and there will be no more ball hogging West on the floor. There is no question Landry is a drop from West but if that drop off gets you a hungry Paul back that is bad news. So do not expect the Hornets to lose all of those games you have penciled in. A motivated Paul will make sure that does not happen.

    Off topic but it's interesting that three of the teams Houston is fighting against for the playoff spots have ex-Rockets playing key roles: Landry in New Orleans, Brooks in Phoenix and Battier in Memphis. It adds a bit of drama to these last 10 games.
