yes. and ryan seacrest came running on stage at randy's calling to interrupt the song. RUN RYAN! RUN! Let him sing the damn song next time. I guess they ran out of time.
Haley is great, but for whatever reason she isn't well liked and she has the slut label. All of her songs have been good to great.
hahahaha come on. don't be ridiculous The judges do have an agenda, I agree.. but they only get 1 save, and it was used properly imo. No matter how you slice it, there's no way Casey should have gone home before at a MINImum 3 of the others. And whether you liked or disliked his performance yesterday, it was still better than Naima's and Thia's
I honestly think that it is a 2 or at most a 3 horse race. Scotty to me is the frontrunner. And right behind him you have Jacob and Lauren. I am still not sure if Jacob has the fans behind him, but I am absolutely sure that scotty and lauren do.
What? You think if they script and stage this they would let the audiences and the contestants in on it? It's so obviously scripted. 11 contestants touring is another hint. If you have been watching the shows long enough there are obvious at time they script some shows over the years and this is one obvious one.
I believe that they decided on 11 before the show last night after seeing the votes and realizing that the save would probably be used on Casey No, I don't believe the whole show was scripted last night. I have been watching it for years
agree with that right now. Except you don't think Pia has a shot? I hope she doesn't--she's super boring to me. But she sings well and seems to have fan support because of it. Also, Casey and James have the talent to get back in the race
Do they send their scripts to dialidol.com? That site has some way of monitoring the votes, and has been accurate for many of the "shocking" eliminations (Daughtry, Casey last night, etc.) While I think the judges may have some agenda in how they praise certain contestants and try to get the audience to like, I do not think they manipulate the actual vote.
Was definitely surprised to see the 'Bottom 3' consist of who it did this week. The judges got it right by "saving" Casey even though I feel he's wildly overrated. You have the save -- use it. There's no way you let a clear favorite (first time in the bottom 3) go home in lieu of perennial bottom dwellers like Haley and Niama (and Paul too, in a perfect world). Overall, I'm getting a bit sick of these judges. They love everything (especially Steven Tyler)! They rarely criticize and when they do they like to beat around the bush. They're simply too soft. Hell, it seemed the one they were the most critical of this week was Pia and she's above-and-beyond better than everybody else in this competition. Updated rankings: 1) Pia 2) James 3) Lauren 4) Casey 5) Stefano 6) Scotty 7) Jacob 8) Thia 9) Naima 10) Haley 11) Paul Clearly, my 'Bottom 3' was a lot different than the results indicated. To Haley and Naima's credit, I thought they delivered strong performances this week. I still feel their vocals are lacking (along with Paul's) so it's difficult for me to move them around too much based off of one week.
Scotty McCreery – Country Comfort – It just sound like a country music. Didn't do anything for me. Seems like any songs he chooses are a safe song with the country takes. Naima Adedapo – I’m Still Standing – Interesting take but she still doesn't have a decent voice to carry it. Paul McDonald – Rocket Man – I'm beginning to think he's the worst singer on here. Can't hardly make out or here what's he's singing. God I hate his singing style. Pia Toscano – Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me – Good performance but nothing new here. Stefano Langone – Tiny Dancer – He's probably the most boring singing voice out of the guys group. Lauren Alaina – Candle In the Wind – I like her take on this. I thought it was good. James Durbin – Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting – Don't really care for this over the top performance. Randy Jackson wasn't happy with his joke about the Michael Jackson incident. Thia Megia – Daniel – I thought she did a good job with this song. Brought out the emotion in it. Casey Abrams – Your Song – I kinda like it. Does he always growl when he hits high notes? Jacob Lusk – Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word – Yeah we know he has a powerful voice but he's not doing any songs justice. I find all his rendition are far worst than the original. It was decent. He needs to cut the dramatic queeny crap and sing the song like Pia. Haley Reinhart – Bennie and the Jets – Have to admit it's her best performance so far. I'm surprised Bottom 3 for me: Naima Paul Stefano
haley pia casey lauren jacob james scotty stefano paul thia naima so bottom 3 (objectively) for me are thia, naima, and either paul or stefano... with Naima and Stefano leaving
Scotty is by far the best on the show, and unlike all the other contestants, he doesn't let any producer tell him what to do. Other than Daughtry, Scotty is the one singer that AI has had that I could see myself buying a record of his. He is definitely in the zone. I also still don't understand James Durbin, who in the world would buy this guys music? It is idiotic. Casey has fallen far far down on my books, he is way over-thinking it and tonight wasn't anything special at all. As far as a career I could see Lauren and Scotty with a real career in country, maybe Paul in the pop world. Everybody else are just roadkill at this point.
Pia Casey Haley Are my top 3 favorites right now. I hope Naomi and Stefano go home. Im not much of a fan of Jacob either.
This guy is just horrible. There is nothing I like about his performances. I can't even imagine sitting through an entire concert of his.
Man in the mirror. But they also let Lauren do Natural Woman. So I don't know. I don't think anybody is going to top Haley this week, she slayed Piece of My Heart. Slayed it.
