    This is the first college basketball game I've ever watched.............and I don't get it. I thought college ball was supposed to be more team based, but god they run pretty simple plays and take shots I would be screaming at if any Rocket took them.

    the purity and awesomeness of college basketball (and college sports in general) is a myth based on people hoping to, and then pretending to, see their cliched sports ideals come to life. it's basically just the nba with less experienced, less talented players.

    what's crazy is i remember watching some game on espn classic that was tied late and the defense fouled to get the ball back. none of the announcers seemed shocked so i assume it must have happened with some regularity (or at least that wasn't the first time) back in the day.

    Yeah, not to mention UF has 2 absolutely terrible FT shooters in Macklin (~45%) and Tyus (~60%).

    I've been saying this my whole life. It's mad gay and about "rooting for someone" and the media finding stories people can relate to. Not actual lovers of basketball.

    Butler is the only pick I have correct in my Final four. Hoping Kansas can make it tomorrow, just for my bracket's miserable sake at this point (even though I would love to see VCU win).

    I'm somehow tied for fifth despite what I thought was a terrible bracket

    Only team I got in the final four correctly was UCONN
