disagree. She sang well, but she still shows poor instincts on where to change a song, where to throw in random runs, etc.. just doesn't have "it".

so essentially you're saying that the judges made a bad decision of putting her on the final 12.

Disagreed. She simply doesn't have the voice to take on a song like that. When it's do-or-die like that you have to 'nail it' and she really didn't, IMO.

In a fair world Haley, Naima or Paul would have went home instead. But I don't feel sorry for her.

yes. never agreed with her or Naima making it through. But I did agree with Stefano.

Would rather have seen a couple of other guys who didn't get a shot to sing for their lives have gotten a shot.. but they had to pick girls based on the rules

Uh, Karen wasn't "voted in" by the judges - she was one of the 10 voted in by people like you, in other words, America!

The wild cards were Stefano, Ashthon, and Naima.

And out of all the 10 voted in by America, Karen was BY FAR the weakest one.

this week.. separated into tiers i guess

Jacob (though his body language annoys me and I wouldn't want to watch him)
    Casey
    Scotty

    Pia (finally fell a bit)

(these 5 could be in any order really, don't really care. Any 1 could be 3rd in bottom 3)
    Paul
    Stefano
    Lauren
James (not a huge fan this week, getting tired of his cockiness too)
    Haley

    Naima
    Thia

I'd probably agree that Naima and Thia were the weakest this week. And that's very much relatively speaking because they both still did extremely well. This week was amazing - even Scotty was able to pull off Motown with his country shtick. Someone undeserving is going to go home next week and it's going to suck.

eh, I'll disagree in that I had them on the bottom because I didn't think they were very good. I think both deserve to go home.

I disagreed even more. The weakest link is:

Paul(just because you have a unique voice doesn't mean you can sing. Making every songs so cringe worthy. At least this week he didn't swing his arms around and dance like a drunk monkey)
Naima(still the weakest voice of the whole group)
Hayley(yes she has a unique voice but but a weak one and every single songs she did so far haven't really done it justice)

People need to stop listening to the idiot judges and try listening with their ears.

Yes, if people disagree with you, it's because they're robots who listen to the judges and are morons. You are the intelligent one. Thanks for setting the world straight

even if you're not posting that to me.. don't know why you make that assumption about people. They've voted off terrible singers so far. Nothing ridiculous

I figured that Naima would be the one to go this week but she really gave a great performance - I think she is safe for one more week. I think Haley will be the one to go home. My latest rankings:

    1 - Pia
    2 - James
    3 - Jacob
    4 - Casey
    5 - Lauren
    6 - Scotty
    7 - Thia
    8 - Stefano
    9 - Paul
    10 - Naima
    11 - Haley

Thia pisses me off. She sounds really good in random moments. I feel like she gets super nervous and mixed up and holds back on the real performances. I hope she matures fast.. she could be better

I could easily see Haley, Thia, or Naima going home this week. They've gotta be the next 3 out barring a big mistake by one of the others.. (or unless Thia steps it up like I mentioned)

ha, i don't believe that for a second. I think they'd prefer to keep the save around for later.. and Casey just got lost going in the dreaded 1st slot. And come on.. genuine surprise and disbelief throughout the contestants/audience/judges

OMG...most emotional Idol ever. lol. Casey didn't deserve to be last. I thing his song choice sucked and that didn't help.

I really like these remaining contestants. Are they the most talented at this stage compared to other seasons? Not sure because I usually bailed other seasons by now after the first few. I feel more from this current group than I did groups from other seasons. It's a versatile group. And, that has kept me interested...along with judge mix-up. The music is hitting the spot, too, for now. I may have to catch this tour...NOT! ;)

I was definitely shocked to see Casey be the very bottom. Glad to see that the judges used the save. NO WAY that Haley stays longer than him - if that really happens, then the show is ****ed up.

Casey has sucked for the last 2 weeks. His best performance was the first week when he did screamin J. The judges have been talking him up but even the judges couldn't save his mediocre performance this week.

That stopping the song BS by the judges. I mean...come on. You interrupt Neil Diamond like that and he'll rip you a new ******* with the microphone. :)

What happened? They stopped him and just said essentially we are going to save you, is that what happened?
