Brad Miller was averaging about a 15/10/4 on 50+ FG% when he was voted as an all-star. He was playing well and deserved that spot. Mo Williams did not deserve to be an all-star, he only got in through injury reasons. Tim Duncan did not deserve to be an All-star this season.
Brad Miller was really good. I think it's easily Tyrone Hill. EDIT: Hah, maybe that's too strong. Apparently James Donaldson made the All-Star team in 1988. Chris Gatling and B.J. Armstrong could also give Hill a run for his money.
There have been a few injured players got voted in, I think. Some over-the-hill superstars got in by reputation. I've always felt that James Donaldson was the worst ever. I could be wrong though. I haven't paid much attention to the all star game for about two decades.
chris gatling was an all star for the mavericks during the 90s. he wasn't even a starter on his own team!
wow...must have been a slow year in the NBA....I thought about looking it up, but knowing mo somebody got hurt & he was a scrub.....sub
