No. Rarely - Only when I know I'm going to need it. Yes - the establishments I frequent only accept cash. Yes - a man needs to always have money in his pocket.
I always keep about $200 in my wallet, mixed with bills of 10s and 20s for things like tipping porters or valet, or places where credit and debit isn't accepted like a mom and pop food trailer.
I rely on cards so I chose rarely, even though a man needs to always have money in his pocket. I'm so used to this that having cash in my pockets is a little disturbance, my money is better kept at the bank than in them, otherwise I think I would be spendind so much more.
Yes. I take out a certain amount for food, grocery, and other miscellaneous purchases every month so I know how much i'm spending without having to check my statement and add it up.
I keep a few $100's between my rolls next to my gun. It can be annoying to get to at times because of all of the crumbs that got stuck there over time. Oh look, it's the remote!! You know how long I've been looking for that!? On a more serious note.....I use my credit card for pretty much everything, and just pay that off in full each month. That said, yes I always try to have at least $100-$200 in cash on me. You never know when it will come in handy (tipping, parking lots, cab, etc.). Pugs
I do that when I can. It is a smart move. Andrew Jackson was a world class b*stard, but he can certainly get you out of some tight spots.
I rarely carry cash on me just because if i lose my wallet i will also lose that much money as well. And with the reward and cash back programs from my credit cards it better for me not to use cash at certain places. I still though keep a 20 in a side pocket of my wallet though for emergency I usually forget that its there. But its depends my boss tends to use his CCs but carries like 600 bucks on him all the time it seem
I try to carry less than $20 in my wallet and I keep an extra $20 hidden in one of the wallet pockets, so I guess about $40 on me.
I used to only have like 50 bucks emergency cash that never gets spent in my pocket. But after someone stole my credit card number, I use cash as much as I can now to buy stuff.
I carry around $100 in 10, 20s for bars and the occasional valet/garage parking. I don't like opening tabs at bars.
I'm making my list for mugging targets. I try to carry cash, but it's usually less than $20. I'll take out $20 or $40 and carry it until it's all gone. Then I'll have nothing for a week or two before deciding to get more. I only need it for the vending machine anyway.
I never use to but now I do...I still think carrying more than $20 is too much for work...but when I'm out it has to be more than that...even though I still charge everything...its just in case cash...
