We all know about the bumpy season this has been but this team is amazing and we are all witnessing it. Since the trade this team has been playing like a group of All Stars. I mean, Lowry has become more than just a PG he has become a leader, Martin a player that was injury prone has fought his way through and stayed healthy, our bench is killing every other bench in the league right now and the coaching staff is doing an outstading and tremendous job. I believe that we will make the playoffs and that when the off season comes and this team manages a defensive big like a Tyson Chandler and as a bonus a high scoring SF we will turn heads. And even if not with our current group with a fresh start next season the Rockets will make some noise! GO ROCKETS!

Very very proud of them. They play the right way and give their all each and every night. This is what real teams do.

They weren't much fun to watch for most of the season, BUT this late run is very enjoyable. Some excitement and drama hasn't been real common around here. Are they that much better than they were earlier or is the schedule alot softer? Some of both?

I like this team, too. I can see why Morey has tried so hard to get that superstar.

It's amazing what winning can do to the morale of a team in the eyes of a fan. Not to mention shipping out a cancer....

IMO the trades made more of an impact than we expected. Trading AB did well for the team because he came in with a green light every time, even on bad shooting nights. That ruined the flow on the offense and lowered the FG %.

Trading Battier made room for Chase. Having Battier and Hayes out there at the same time had too many offensive liabilities. With Chase in there, it's harder to double team. The only person you can leave in the starting 5 now is Hayes but most of the time he is initiating the high post passes.

All year we've been losing close games but lately, this new team has made it more of a challenge in late games because there are less liabilities.

And the addition of Patterson in the rotation has made a significant impact as well.

I'd pay good money to watch Chuck hustle and this team gel.

    Are you referring to Brooks??

Don't get me wrong, he was doing a lot of things wrong this season and arguably bringing the team down. But man, to call him a cancer? Not a term thrown out lightly in the NBA....then again it is used far more frequently here on clutchfans.

On a more serious note, is there significant stock in Courtney Lee wooing Howard over to the rockets? People keep mentioning this as an aside, but how substantial is the connection?

Even Hayes has been showing a real willingness to take the ball to the basket lately. While he is still not a real threat, he is at least not the 0 that he was a few seasons ago.

Yup, that reference was definitely geared toward Brooks. This year he did nothing to help the team. He had a bad attitude, missed a lot of games (albeit, he didn't have any control over this, but it still hurt the team), and when he did play, he couldn't have played much worse. Maybe in the minds of some people in order to qualify as a "cancer" it must go on for a longer period or time, or something just off the wall has to take place. My definition is that if a player is doing nothing to help the team (at least Jeffries was a good cheerleader) and instead are bringing it down, they're a cancer.

As far as Courtney luring Howard here, I think that has next to no impact on the situation. Let's say on a scale of 0 thru 100 we had to get to 50 to convince Howard to come to Houston. The effect Courtney had would probably give us 5 of those 50 points, at the most. Hope that made sense, and that's just my opinion.

Has Dwight Howard racked up a trouble double?

Just kidding, that'd be awesome. But seriously, has he?
