However "r****d" as a word is here to say and has been adopted into common parlance (ask the Black Eyed Peas - is will.i.am a silly podunk fool?) and is most definitely not a relic of the past. It's far from the only mental-disability word to have dual meanings, see, e.g. the words "imbecile" or "incompetent" or "moron" and even "idiot", which though used to denote the mentally handicapped, have another connotation simply every day words used to denote poorly reasoned ideas, schemes, concepts etc., see the infamous Binet scale: Normal ----- IQ 85-115 Deficient ---- IQ 71-84 Moron ------ IQ 51-70 Imbecile ---- IQ 26-50 Idiot -------- IQ 0-25
i dont see how me rejecting your sexual advances makes me a homophobe. i dont date dudes and i dont want to engage in a c***suckingfest with you...sorry. same could be said for use of the word "gay". the difference is that there is nothing wrong w/ being gay - if you ask most gay people if they are happy being gay they would say "yes". but if you ask a r****ded person if they enjoy being r****ded they would probably say "no". either way, you need to understand that throwing that word around like you do is going to hit a nerve w/ some people. again, same could be said for the word "gay".
