Just want to get a feel for what people are running, why, and why not. I'm also curious to know who uses Internet Explorer specifically (by choice), because I can't think of any good reason why someone would? I'm leaving out Safari for the poll because Mac users can't use Internet Explorer and non-Mac users can't use Safari (As far as I know). Basically the poll is limited to PC.
I use Chrome at home on my windows machine. I use Firefox on my linux box at work because there isn't a Chrome version for linux yet.
Internet Explorer at work, because there are several corporate programs that only work with it. Firefox at home.
Until abp on chrome is as good as ff, ff for me. Ff4 really improves performance. IE 9 is the fastest browser, but ie still has no abp.
Firefox. The awesome bar on Firefox is indispensable. I'd seriously switch to Chrome if its omnibar was as good.
Chrome. Simple and fast. I still use FireFox on occasion if necessary. (sometimes the online rockets streams require a plug in that isn't available for chrome)
Once you get used to Chrome it's hard to switch. I'll download FF4 after a couple of weeks and use it as a backup. But at this point I hardly run into sites that still have a problem with Chrome. I gave Safari a good try a couple of years ago and it just didn't do it for me. Can someone give me a good reason why a person would use Safari on a PC instead of Chrome or FF?
Chrome the most, but Firefox here and there because some things just don't work with Chrome (live streams, a marketing program i use, etc...).
Ubuntu 9.10 I looked for chrome maybe a year ago and it said it was unavailable for linux. I signed up to get an email alert when it was released, but they never sent me anything. Those bastards.
