Yeah so Aaron is obligated to tell some random guy at a LAKERS game that he misses Houston. What the hell is he supposed to say in front of his teammates? "oh yeah I miss it a lot man, I wish I was still there. I don't like it at all in Phoenix".

Not surprised one bit. That kinda attitude is what made us lose at least 5 games while he was sulking he lost his starting job.

Hey Brooks, here is some news for you, you gotta earn it and maintain it. It's not a given right to be a starting PG in the NBA.

Let's bring this horse corpse back for more abuse.

He left the bench after being removed from one game. If that's "quit on the Rockets" after several years of busting his tail on the court, and by all accounts in practice and in the training facility, etc, okay, whatever.

He was not playing well, the trade made sense, etc, but all this "quit on" is just innacurate. It's like saying I completely fumigated my entire university just because I had a small fart just once right before a student randomly showed up with a question.

I've thought about this question, and honestly, it would be easy for Aaron to have said:
    (nothing at all), or
    "... thanks!" or even
"... we had some good times!"

If he wanted to be a little snotty, my preference would have been:
"... not like you're gonna miss me when you see me next year!"

Wow thank God I never was on his bandwagon. Much easier to hate on the midget with a big alien head.

    At least he's honest.

I will be cheering for him to suck and not get paid this summer.

His in-game disappearing act was only part of it.

He obviously refused to accept his role on the team.

He was playing merely for himself.

Part of why I think he sucked so hard.

What? His fans are Phoenix fans, his allegiance should be to them only. He doesn't owe random Rockets fans a damn thing...it's not like the man was rude. Good god, we don't even know that this even happened. Get the F over it already.

Didn't read the whole thread but I am sure this was mentioned. Dude was about to get seriously paid after a MIP season where he averaged 19/5. Now after that injury and backup role the dollars disappeared. He must be pissed.

    This.

Why are you guys criticizing Brooks? It isn't like he quit on the team.

Some Rockets fans are truly bad. Everyone seems to have forgotten about last year, and only completely focus on this year. Sad.

i understand you cant say "i miss rockets too" rite infront of the suns. but there is absolutely no need to say the "nagatives".
U can simply say "Thank you".
or "i am still in NBA, you still can watch me play"
    or make some friendly jokes
or no respond to fans during a game (pretty normal)
    however...
    thats no class at all.
think in this way, if not AB but Battier instead, you dont believe Basttier will say things like that, ever. you just cannot form an image in the head.
    am i rite?

I love these online Chinese-to-English translators. If AB said that, it just makes me happier he's not here. Enjoy hearing about our push to the playoffs Aaron, you'll always be Chris Rock to me (apparently without the jokes).

First off its not that serious. Secondly, don't act like the man wasn't our best player in the playoffs, which got us to the second round (even Tmac couldn't get us there). So before bashing his attitude just remember most everyone who leaves this team ends up labeled "disgruntled" by the organization and Houston media. Having a healthy Aaron Brooks at full speed, to me, is better than Kyle Lowry anyday. Atleast we know Brooks showed up when it counted

I can't believe people are defending someone being an *******.

    "Thanks."

What do you people get out of riding this dude's crotch so hard? Dude obviously was disgruntled and became an emotional wreck and let it destroy his performance. Totally unprofessional.

    **** that ****.
