Maybe he can be eligible for Rio Grande Valley postseason. Go for the back-to-back.

This move is pretty much used to appease Adelman.

Seeing how Adelman has 0 trust in DeMarre Carroll, Harris would probably play some 3/4 behind Pat with Bud and Scola out.

Last time he was here, people here complained that he was trying to do too much and were saying that he needs to realise that there weren't plays run for him.

Always loved your hustle Mike, lets hope you do well :)

I didn't know this about a player signing before March 23 thing. I now have to wonder if signing a player around this time of year, not just Mike Harris, was a planed consideration all along? Letting JJ go (buying him out) did clear a roster spot and I know Bud is hurt and all, but....

Morey works in mysterious ways. ((( )))

As you said earlier about Morey resigning Harris being smart because AR could trust playing him. Refreshing Harris memory on the system will be easier (than bringing in a total outsider) even with how it is run today with the player personnel we have.

    Morey be smart like that.

If twill didn't just have surgery, he'd probably play like 5 mins. Don't think the rockets would sign Harris if twill was healthy. Sucks for twill because the one time he does have opportunity for minutes, he's hurt lol. But he's been tweeting the right things so far. But nobody cares unless it's a "bad" tweet.

As we've seen in the past, Harris was not signed to start. He is signed as a playable body in case of foul trouble, further injury or matchup problems for the regular rotation. There is an outside chance that Coach will use him to exploit a matchup at the PF position, if someone goes small or with a soft, perimeter PF ... still, don't see that happening without foul trouble to Hill, weak knee for Scola on a back to back, etc.

Everyone currently in the rotation is just going to get more minutes (e.g, PPatt at the 3). No one outside of the rotation is likely to play.

That said, Harris is lighting up the CBA from 3pt range. He might have actually increased his range enough to use as spot SF.

Adelman won't play him, my guess is he won't even be considered.
The starting five + Dragic, Patterson, Lee, Hill & Miller is the most you will see getting minutes. We're fighting for the playoffs and RA will stick with what works. This is not a move to please Adelman, on the contrary. Too bad I got my hopes up of Harris playing, if only we had another coach.

If Lee keeps stinking up the place and Harris will not be used, I will definitely not want Adelman back here. The guy is stubborn, especially late in the season. How can you have Thabeet not among the 12 active players when you play a big team like the Jazz ? We could've used him when Hill was struggling.

Adelman, please use Mike 'the hustler' Harris !!!

You mean the starting 4... thats why Harris is being brought in cause one of the bench members is going into the starting line up.

You have to play Harris. A 30/30/30/30 or 40/40/40/20(Dragic) split of minutes is not smart.

Man, this is the all-hustle team right here:

    Lowry
    Lee
    Harris
    Pat
    Chuck

I would get tired just watchin them.

I can't believe that Mike Harris isn't playing for another NBA team -- the guy has skills.

Yep. Also, I asked Larry Coon yesterday via Twitter if the Rockets could maintain the right to trade Harris's contract on draft day if they later signed him to a two-year deal. Larry says no.

Watching Scola hustle just frustrates me because he's going to end up on the ground regardless

Patterson and Lee are hoping Budinger comes back to play defense on Lebron James on Sunday. I don't see how counting on Budinger to play defense on anyone is beneficial to the team. But, if he's still injured, I'm guessing Mike Harris sees a lot of minutes that game to defend James. He's got more size than Lee and is more quick than Patterson.
