I sat behind the Suns bench tonight at the Lakers triple-OT win. I called out to Aaron Brooks and had this exchange: Me: "AB, we miss you in Houston!" AB: "I don't miss it." Me: (awkward silence) So... there's that.
LMAO... Can't blame him though. He had an injury, only to come back his job is now Lowry's, then we go on to trade him for Dragic and a pick lol.. And all this happening after MIP last year.. sigh.. bad memories I wouldn't miss either
Guess he enjoys losing moreso than winning. Hope he had fun watching Ron Ron and Kobe torch his team.
Honestly, whatever. The guy is not a Rocket anymore. I think his attitude is everything. He got suspended twice this season for idiotic moves, and he had these issues even before the injury. If he's glad he isn't here, so am I.
I'm absolutely elated that we no longer have to watch that disgRUNTled, trigger-happy sour-puss jog up and down the floor anymore... I hope he rots on the PHX bench, and the Rockets march in to the playoffs behind our bulldog of a floor general. Nothing made me happier than watching Lowry curb-stomp the Suns last week... and Brooks just watched helplessly from the sideline.
Not 100% sure I believe ya, but maybe I just don't want to believe you. His good time here was GOOD. I'd think that alone would have been enough for the man to love the town. Maybe he was bitter about never getting his contract extension after a season that made it seem like he deserved one. But the Rockets did the right thing, and Morey knows his stuff. Great job Morey. I really hope Brooks didn't say that though cause I still love the guy for the good things he did with this team.
I think I actually saw that exchange on TV when he was on the bench. He was talking to someone behind him when they flashed him on the screen. I bet it was killing him that he wasn't in the game during the epic conclusion. It shocked me when he left the bench during one of our games; I really didn't think that was part of his make up. I guess that was truly a snapshot of his temper. Was he like this at Oregon?
That's a pity, if true. I enjoyed Aaron and was disappointed that he couldn't shake off his injury and get out of his head. Oh well. Life goes on.
Let's pretend that you're Aaron Brooks. And you've dated Houstonania Rocketta for 3 years, and boy those were the best years of your life. You've done things that you've never done before with this gal, and you are ecstatic as can be after reaching an all-time high in 2010. However, things begin to head south afterwards, and you are sent off on business for a couple months. In the meantime, Houstonania NEEDS to get her fix so she starts seeing this dude named Kyle Lowry. She finds that Kyle is extremely rough, very physical...which is exactly what she wants. So she dumps Aaron, and he is just absolutely heartbroken. A short while after, while he is on a date with his rebound girl Phoenixia Suns, a friend of Houstonania says to Aaron that her Houstonania misses him even though she's still with Kyle, who just keeps satisfying her more and more, rubbing it in his face whenever they see each other. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IN THIS SITUATION IN FRONT OF YOUR REBOUND GIRL.
