He should have shot more. He passed to Carter at the end of regulation or 1OT that ended up being a 30 foot chuck (that predictably missed by about ten feet). I'd rather Nash take a fallaway over Gasol & Odom than give Carter a wide-open jumper.
Sounds about right. Kobe Bryant -- "People that criticize, they can all kiss my ass. I don't give a s---. I really don't. I keep the train moving. We're gonna keep on moving and in June, they'll say nothing."
Hehe, but that is Kobe Bryant, not you. Living off Kobe Bryant won't make your petty existence tolerable.
Haha, I kinda feel your pain. Vince is really struggling. But that's the beauty of Steve's play. He will give you the ball when you're open. He is a great shooter, but he is even a better passer.
I'm not sure if Nash is a better passer or shooter. IMO he's the best shooter in NBA history, a regular member of the 50/40/90 club so few have joined. He's also an incredible passer. It's a shame he never got to the Finals (and won't unless he joins a contender next year), because he's a joy to watch. I think this loss falls on the coach. The obvious thing is that he overplayed Carter, who was terrible (-20 in a one possession game, for reals?) The Lakers were winded down the stretch having played 50+ minutes of high paced ball, and what the Suns needed to do was put in some fresh legs to finish the job. VC is the opposite of fresh legs. I would have gone with a small rotation with both Nash & Brooks in the backcourt and zoned up the defense. With Artest & Fisher out there it's not like you need bigger defenders anyway (you can guard Artest with air and play him to drive, which he's terrible at). The Clippers beat the Lakers a few months ago doing this approach, where they played three guards (including 6'0 Eric Bledsoe) and two bigs, ran a zone, and wore the Lakers out with speed. Phoenix is even more equipped to do this and the length of the game really favored them. Gentry showed some savvy during the playoffs last year and I was disappointed he didn't bust that out more here, especially since Brooks is a well-known Laker killer.
I dont give a crap who started it or anything else about this little pissing contest you boys got going in here, but it needs to stop. If the only purpose of your post is to launch personal attacks against one another, dont post it. It ruins threads and pollutes this forum. ps....get it thru your heads, a troll is NOT someone who disagrees with you...quit tossing that insult around like candy.
wait, when did i say kobe's not efficient? i don't recall, where did u get that from clippy? honest question
I said "you can always find stretch that Kobe's not efficient in virtually every game'. Of course Clippy has to take it out of context.

Yeah, Wowzers, How he kept that pivot with Odom riding on him I do not know. Nash continues to impress at age 36, had 20 assists, still runs like he's 25. I think teams that need a point guard to take them to the top like Miami and Knicks should seriously look into acquiring him.
When Nash isn't feeling the aches and pains, he is fun to watch. It's like the clock is turned back. Other times when the old bones are bothering him, it's hard for me to watch him play.
lol how typical of a hater, Kobe's had a 13 or 14 years career, and in most seasons including play offs, is there any player at all who is efficient in every game?
