It doesn't matter if he was good last year.

The fact of the matter is, Bosh is NOT a top 5 PF. It doesn't matter if he has been playing well for 10 games, it doesn't make him a top 5 player.

As emjohn just stated, Bosh's best stats only barely put him in the top 5 PF.

Griffin, Love, Aldridge, Stoudamire, Dirk and even Garnett are all players arguably better than Bosh.

You want to agree to disagree and then you ask me whether he is top 6?

Bosh is at best a Top 10, and that says a lot for a guy under performing with two top players in the league taking the pressure off him.

He's playing as good as any PF in the league right, so top 10 tells me you do not watch any Heat games.

lol @ saying Bosh is the best or a top 5 PF just because he's playing good right now.

would it be easier if he was playing bad right now like Stoudemire is? Right at this point in time, Gasol is probably the only pf playing better than Bosh and not by much, over the course of a season, Gasol, Stoudemire and Dirk are probably the only 3 I can comfortably say are better than Bosh, and Griffin will be better than all of them in a cpl years.

Top 5 tells me you're a typical Miami fan boy, which you've already proven to be.

"He is a top 10 PF, you don't watch his games!"
"Lol if you don't think he is a top 5 player, I'm not even going to argue"

Chris Bosh is a bad defender, and his offensive game and rebounds don't even make up for his horrible defense.

I love how you stated Kevin Love is a one way player, when that is exactly what Chris Bosh is. Except Kevin Love never fails to clean up the boards, unlike Bosh who managed a one rebound game.

By your logic (which is so flawed it's laughable), Kyle Lowry is the best PG in the NBA because he has averaged 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the last few games. That is, assuming you even watch Rocket games.

Take your fan boyism somewhere else. In fact, take your broken logic and argument to a Miami fan board where it's welcomed. You've managed to justify Chris Bosh being a top 5 PF with one useless point, "you don't watch his game if you don't think so."

Right, because you've seen every power forward in the league play to determine Chris Bosh is a top 5 PF right?

Are you the internet police, telling me what I can and cannot do?
Being a Internet E-Thug isn't something to be proud off.

Chris Bosh has proven history over many years he is one of the top PF's in the league, where your example of Lowy, has only the last few games.

Chris Bosh is on a team that is in the top 3 defensive teams in the league, and a team that has one of the best interior defence in the league.
He is also a great pick and roll defender, and a good help defender due to his length and speed.

The things, there are other posters who are telling you facts, but your hate for Bosh is really clouding your judgement.

LOL at calling me a thug because you disagree with my point.

Do you mind not trolling this forum?

Do you even know what an internet-thug is, or for that matter do you even know what the term thug means? Let me give you a life advice, if somebody makes a point that you disagree with, don't call them a thug or a fake tough guy. It doesn't end well.

And like a typical homer you contradict yourself again and again. First you say Chris Bosh is a top 5 PF because of his recent performance, then you say he is a top 5 PF because of his previous seasons.

We are talking about this season, and he is NOT a top 5 PF this season, tangibly and intangibly. In fact, he doesn't have any intangibles at all. His horrible defense doesn't make up for it, and since you praise his defense so much, are you willing to bet Bosh will not make it into any all defensive teams?

Homerism is clouding your judgment, but I'm sure a Miami heat fan board would welcome you very much. But I know you're not going to deny being a big time Heat fan.

Top 5 means you wouldn't even make an all nba team, i think you people are taking his statement way too over the top in your miami hate.

Is that all you could come up with as a retort to my argument? That I don't know anything?

There are at least 5 other PFs out there better than Bosh on a winning team putting up significant numbers on offense and doing some work on defense. This is the third time you've used the "You haven't watched the games" or "You have no idea what you're talking about" argument.

Is it so hard to admit your favourite player Bosh is playing horribly this year and 10 games do not make up for his suckage for the other 50+ games?

When you say "right now" or "right at this point in time" what are you talking about? This game? This week? This month? This season? The shorter the period, the weaker your argument because it is more likely to be a fluke.

    major weak sauce

should we read that as " I have no actual evidence to backup my statements and I dont want to be thoroughly owned by continuing this argument."

That is how I read it.

Why are people wasting time arguing with Octavianus? He's a Miami fan through and through. He's not really interested in contributing anything besides talking about the greatness of superfriends.

For some absurd reason decides to spend time hyping up his Heat on a Rockets forum. Makes no sense, I know. But for some reason he does.

Posters above me, had the details I would of posted.
Didn't want to drag this thread down anymore, by having petty fights.
Didn't want to re use there posts. Also, I couldn't find the article about how Chris Bosh is one of the best post defenders in the league, but will look again.
Also, there is a good post on a lakers board about Gasol vs Bosh, as Bosh has outplayed Gasol twice this year, so I will link that as well.

It's ok to Hate Miami on this board to the extent of bashing anyone who like Miami, and to tell them to post elsewhere.

Only Miami haters are allowed to post on Clutchfans.

You really don't get it do you?

And I got these quotes by just clicking on a random thread related to Miami Heat.

You have a tendency to label everyone who doubts Miami Heat a "hater" or a "troll", on a Rockets fan board.....

Whenever somebody criticizes Bosh, you go on to say:

Really? On a site dedicated to the Rockets?

I think what we are seeing from you is the notorious Miami Heat syndrome.

You, just like Superfriends, think the whole world is about you and the whole world cares about you losing or winning. That after a loss, you would go around saying:

This is almost a mirror match of what Wade had to say after their loss.

The majority of the fans here don't give a damn about the Miami Heat, because this is a Houston Rockets fan board. Yet somehow, you have to make everything about the world vs the heat, or go around calling people "haters" because they criticize the heat.

I mean how are you so completely blind by this? Do you honestly think people get irritated by you just because you are a Miami Heat fan?

The fact that you called yourself a Rocket fan since Hakeem is almost the biggest insult you could throw to any Rocket fan.
