Can Blake be less overdramatic whenever calls don''t go his way? I've also noticed his attitude/body language isn't that far off from this when he gets benched too.
You get fouled out on a dunk when you charge through a defender to get it. Gortat was there, good call
Understand the rule. This is a direct quote from the Rule Book: First paragraph: "A defensive player is permitted to establish a legal guarding position in the path of a dribbler regardless of his speed and distance. " 2nd paragraph: "A defensive player is not permitted to move into the path of an offensive player once he has started his shooting motion. " um, jumping for a dunk is a shooting motion. Look at the replay again. Gortat has to be set prior to the time Griffin "started his shooting motion (dunk)." again, it does not matter where Gortat was or whether he was set when Griffin tea-bagged him; the rule is: was Gortat still moving when Griffin started his dunk. You tell me.
for all of u saying it was a charge... to me it wasnt a matter of whether he was in the circle or not, its the contact. THERE WAS BARELY ANY CONTACT!!! God this league has such p***y calls nowadays... i miss the 80s - 90s
Lol, don't tell people how to play the game of basketball. Dunking the ball and jumping really high to do so, are still offensive skills.
That was pure awesomeness, and stupid ref ruined it. I don't even care if it was technically a charge, that **** was sick wicked and nasty.
I can understand why Griffin was so upset. He just fouled out late in a REALLY CLOSE game after making a REALLY IMPORTANT play right? Right? Good play by Gortat. Nice aggression by Griffin - but seriously, who cares if you foul out while down 20 in the 4th? Way to melodramatic... next time just take a seat.
The grin on Hakim Warrick's face after the foul call is pretty funny. I think he knows they got away with one. Not necessarily because it wasn't a foul, but because that call is rarely going to go the way of the defense.
