V: Anyone still watching? I just recently remembered it was back on . . . . Trying to catch up. Rocket River
It was ok this season. Maybe something to catch up over the summer. If it is canceled, don't bother watching. The season ended on a cliff hanger and did not wrap up the story line at all.
I thought it wasn't that much of a cliff-hanger... Spoiler I'm sure it could interpreted that it ends with Anna being able to control humans with her bliss, essentially meaning the end of the resistance against the Vs. I certainly hope that wasn't the supposed ending though; the ARIS people seem like they could do some real damage against the V's. From what I've read it seems like it's very unlikely V makes a comeback. It's a pity that it started off so strongly but teetered off rating wise.
Yeah, I'm still watching, mainly because the wife and I are both fans of the original show, and keep hoping that this one will get better. Sadly, it seems to have gone the wrong direction. The Visitors should have been revealed at the end of season one, and the entire second season should have been about people banding together to fight back, instead of this "covert war" by the Fifth Column.
2nd season was mildy better but I thought the finale had more action than the entire first 2 seasons, signs pretty much point to this being dead in the water.
The thing that killed i for me . . . was that they did not put it on HULU no more. So I simply forgot about it. I am just now catching up. I think EARTH: FINAL CONFLICT was better. . . . well i have not finished the V yet. Rocket River
The ending seem very contrived and rushed, like they had to stitch it up in a hurry. It didn't fit the pace and tone of prior episodes. I was disappointed. The show is dead.
I tried but just didn't do it for me. I was such a huge fan of the original that this one just was never going to live up to it. I mean the original had the cool alien uniforms, lizard aliens and the Beastmaster.
