How often does someone foul out on a dunk? How often does someone foul out on a dunk this nasty? <object width="560" height="349"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CvyelLWnDMo?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CvyelLWnDMo?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="349"></embed></object> This guy is damn exciting to watch. These days I'm usually checking Clippers highlights right after the Rockets.
No such thing as a charge if a guy dunks it, imo. Why take the teabags out of basketball? Teabags are the best part...
He does that a lot -- pushes down with his off hand on the shoulder or head of the person he is jumping over.
It's part of the mind games. If you're trying to call a charge, you won't be able to block if he goes for a jump shot. Griffin should've just shot it. That's the rules. On the other hand, was he crying?
Total charge. What a ridiculous display of complaining, falling to his knees and everything. "MENDOZZZAAAAA!"
I'm not sure that had anything to do with the call. Gortat was set outside the circle and got bowled over. I think he could have avoided a tech if he did his little melodrama without keeping the ball. Stop ballhogging.
I never knew players could stand on the semi circle, shuffle their feet, and move into the player driving to the basket and still draw a charge.
I agree that was disappointing. I mean everyone knows the Clips aren't gonna win it, so at least give them something to cheer about and let Griffin get his dunks.
