Yes he was going to get more mins, but this could push him past his breaking point.

i doubt bibby is going to get more than 25 minutes a night max anyways, unless he's hot, then he'll get more PT.

besides chalmers, the heat's main concern right now is to get mike miller to SHOOT, and shoot with confidence. that guy is a ghost offensively this year, and it limits what they can do offensively.

I hear Chalmers will be out for 5-7 games, which means Heat might rest him for the playoffs.

The key missing part for the Heat is still Haslem, and if he does come back, will make a huge difference.

Yeah, Miller has not been wanting to shoot at all, quite weird to watch, keeps driving, and dishing.

Good new for Heat fans, is Chris Bosh is really balling right now, and playing he's best basketball for the year.

Where are you getting your information? Miami would need both Boston and Chicago to lose at least four of their remaining fourteen games to move to number one, and that's if Miami manages somehow to extend their current win streak to 14 games.

Boston might lose that many games, they're not playing that well lately and Miami can help themselves by beating the Celtics in April. But Chicago is hot right now. They have eight homes games left, where they have the second best record in the league. They also have road games against Sacramento, Philly, Toronto, and NJ. I can't see them finishing any worse than 11-3.

Miller won't be fit until next season, his injury was a debilitating one.

Heat have to catch up 4 games on the Bulls/Celtics.

Impossible at this point for Heat to have #1...most likely 3.

Yeah, until watching Miller play these past few months I had no idea that his injury was testicular.

Even if it wouldn't surprise you if Miami won out the rest of the season, that's a far cry from saying "it looks like Miami will be the first seed."

    Sure thing Clippy.

I'll keep my end of the bargain as long as you admit that you were wrong about the Heat's greatness.

I don't have to admit anything, as that wasn't the bet. Nothing I can do if you want to be a welch.

I'm not sure what you want here. Yeah, the Heat aren't doing as well as I predicted, but they are still a top team, a contender this year, and a contender for years to come. LeBron is still the best player in the league and IMO it's not close, but he won't get MVP the same reason Shaq didn't get it in 2001, 2002, 2003, etc.

    Contrast this with you, who:
    1) Predicted the Cavs would make the playoffs.
    2) Bet on said prediction.
    3) Disappeared from this forum for months when the Cavs showed how much they sucked.
    4) Are now only willing to pay your bet conditionally.

AKA, you are a welch. Fine, you have to live with it, not me.

With Bibby At The Point, Heat Are Much Better Team

With Mario Chalmers sidelined for up to two weeks, Mike Bibby has taken over as the Heat's point guard. And Bibby is playing well enough that he may not ever give it up.

Looking at lineups with Bibby playing with the Big Three, the Heat have scored 126 points per 100 possessions when the team has Bibby, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh on the floor. That’s 15 points better than the team’s normal rate, far and away better than with Chalmers.

Bibby has earned the title as the Heat’s finisher at point guard, receiving most if not all the crunch time minutes recently. Once he was the team’s finisher, it was only a matter of time before the starter label was added to his name.

Lol, why the hell should I disappear just because the stupid Cavs are losing. I disappeared because Yao is lost for the season and the Rockets traded

Why should I take what you say seriously? You can't pick and choose what means something. So it was you that made the bet but it wasn't you that said the Heat would shatter records and 4-peat?

The Cavs suck, I was wrong and I have a debt to pay.

But where are the "record shattering" Heat you promised us that will "minimum 4-peat".

Admit that fanboi's like you got too hyped up when your boi Lebron joined the Cryami Heat you lost perspective.

    Typical Lebron fanboi.

Exactly. The Cavs are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs so the bet is over. You owe the site $20 and a sig from me. Honor that, and we're all good.

Why the hell should I honor what you say? You don't even back up what you say.

Admit your Lebron fanboi membership got you so excited you started sputtering idiocy and we're good.

Where's the "shattering records" and "minimum 4-peat" you promised us.

The Heat have officially not "shattered records"; they aren't winning no 75 games. Admit you Lebron got you a little too aroused and we're good.
