I think he should have worked with CD and then sent. Should have been playing this whole time.

I think he needs a lot more time then 4 games. I was hoping he would be there for rest of the season. But good move for the Rox in the meantime.

I think this is the time he learns the Rockets system and WHEN we make the playoffs, RA will have a better idea if the team can use him

It's good for him. Let him go down there and work on 2-3 moves in the post he can do consistently.

I think he'll develop into a defensive presence. He's got the physical tools to become a 12 rebound, 4 block type guy, and 7 point guy.

And with Patrick Patterson as the future at Power Forward. I think that Jordan Hill can too develop as the backup for center and power forward.

There is a lot of potential with these guys.

I just hope he takes this in stride. Not as punishment or not because the Rockets feel like he sucks and is a waste of roster space.

In fact on this team as a young player the best thing that can happen to you here is to be sent to the Dleague. I think (Just my guess) it means the organization has some hope for the player, and think that player may develop into something.

Think about the guys who haven't been sent to the Dleague? Like Twill...but then think about those who have? Which has been most of our active team it seems.

Current CBA restricts team's ability to send players down to only players during their first 2 or 3 years in the league. During the upcoming negotiations, it is likely that the league will push to be able to allow for more players to be able to be assigned, particularly those coming off an injury. Scola could have used that tonight.

I hope someone works with him on hos he carries himself on the sidelines, specifically his facial expressions.. just in general I think.

I don't THINK he is constantly stoned, or bored or not into the proceedings.. but he LOOKS like he is, and he needs to change that.. this is a spectator sport after all, which means there are spectators, which mhe needs to be aware of how he comes across to those who see him in public like that.

As Mike Newlin would say: He has an ignominious physiognomy . Not his fault, but he needs to address it.

Thabeet needs to forget about becoming the next Hakeem and concentrate on rebounding and defense. Forget about those spin moves and post game, just use his size and dunk the ball, rebound and clog the middle. He can hang around the league and make a nice living just doing that.

From what I understand the Rockets have to make a decision on the option for his final contract year in October (Memphis excersezed the option for next season) ..... He'll be due better than $6m for that final season which would really make picking up a substantial FA much more difficult if they were to exercise that option.

I'd much prefer to make an educated guess based upon his play rather than just a shot in the dark. He's not going to see time on the court in Houston barring an injury .... This is the best option the Rockets have to answer that $6m question.
