Honestly who do you think will take the 8th seed? Lets just say it between us and the Grizz...Jazz and Phoenix flame out.

    Grizz Schedule and my predictions
    VS. Jazz - W
    @ Boston - L
    @ Chicago - L
    VS. San Antonio - L
    VS. GS - W
    @ New Orleans - L
    VS. Minny - W
    VS. LAC - W
    VS. SAC - W
    VS. New Orleans - W
    @ Portland - L
    @ LAC - W

    7-5 finishing 45-37

    Rockets Schedule and my predictions
    VS. GS - W
    @ Miami - L
    @ NJ - W
    @ Philly - W
    VS. San Antonio - L
    VS. Atlanta - W
    VS. SAC - W
    @ New Orleans - W
    VS. LAC - W
    VS. Dallas - L
    @ MInny - W

    8-3 finishing 45-37

We own a 3-1 series record against the Grizz, so hello 8th seed!

If we could just steal one in Miami, hope SA and Dallas decide to rest their veterans that would be great, because we are bound to lose a game we aren't suppose to in that schedule. I'm confident we'll beat the Hornets and the Hawks.

I just don't want to look schedule.. anytime I see we will need to go 8-3.. and see schedule, it sounds scary.

Should just worry about next game. We need to take care of GS. They are not going to be much taller than us with their center out. But damn Dorrell wright is going to have heck of a advantage over K-mart if Bud is out.

    Curry - Lowry
    Ellis - Lee
Wright is 6'9 vs. 6'7 light frame Martin
    David lee - Scola
Their center is taller but since he is a bench player and more of a forward - I think Chuck will handle him easy.

Unfortunately for us, Mavs/Lakers might be fighting till the last game for that 2nd seed which could be very important to both teams for home court in the 2nd round. Unless they're locked in to the 2 or 3, i think they will come out to win.

Spurs game just seems too early before season end (2 weeks) for them to start resting. We can't rely on either team to rest their starters. If they do, I'll take it though.

Remember, S.A is up 7 games on no 2. Given teibreaking implications they may not even play their starters.

one game of rest doesn't really matter. they're gonna play their starters and try to beat us in an effort to keep houston from getting #8

I think for the Spurs they would rather play Houston than the Grizzlies.

Spurs look like a team who would still play their starters except maybe Duncan cause hes old.

The only way I see it is if some of their starters are going through some minor nagging injuries and they are kept out for precautionary reasons. But like someone else said, don't rely on teams sitting their starters.

I'm satisfied watching one game at a time, without looking ahead on the schedule, because the games lately have been so fun to watch in and of themselves. If we make the playoffs, I'll be excited for the possibility of an upset. If not, I'm excited about next year. Since the all-star break we are playing some high quality ball.

Yep! Same here. And I am really enjoying a lot of games after the All-Star break. Playoffs or no playoffs, I love the Rockets!

My friend is a Spurs fan, and assuming the Spurs are still #1 he says he'd much rather they face the Rockets than the Griz in the first round.

My jaw dropped, but I should have expected it. Anyone who doesn't know the Rockets would take the bigger names of Marc Gasol and Rudy Gay over our stronger coaching and team play, led by Lowry, Chuck and co.

That's a fan's perspective. I would bet Pops and Co. want to face Memphis over Grizz. Pops will take his chances with Hollins anyday over Adelman.
