    Dont get me wrong but I think it is, that I saw it on the Houston Rockets website

    It's tomorrow but just a heads up to all the fans..
    Lets win tomorrow and wish "Clutch a happy birthday" by smashing the Utah Jazz.

    According to his profile, it's March 29.

    You're thinking of the actual mascot, Clutch the Bear and he was actually first introduced on March 14, 1995.

    Not overall. What he's referring to is that the Rockets are doing a promotion by throwing a birthday party (albeit a slightly belated one) for Clutch the Bear tomorrow night.
