    I know people out there still stink of Lebron as Lebrick.

    all data taken from hoopdata.com

    10-15 ft: 44.4%
    16-23 ft: 43.2%

    here are some statistics to see how he fares with the other elite wing scorers:

    kobe
    10-15ft: 51.4%
    16-23ft: 37.8%

    durant:
    10-15ft: 47.3%
    16-23ft: 38.6%

    melo
    10-15ft: 36%
    16-23ft: 41%

    pierce
    10-15ft: 47.6%
    16-23ft: 38.5%

    kmart
    10-15ft: 37.2%
    16-23ft: 35.1%

    rose
    10-15ft: 42.3%
    16-23ft: 38.3%

    wade:
    10-15ft: 39.3%
    16-23ft: 37.3%

    just some thoughts for those who continue to think lebron not a good jumpshooter. the guy has made huge strides in that aspect of his game (in a way where sometimes he's too much of a jumpshooter this year).

    I remembering reading that his percentage from 10-15 feet has soared this year. He used to be really abysmal in that range.

    consider in 08-09,
    10-15ft: 24.3%
    16-23ft: 39.4%

    the guy has made huge strides in that area of his game, and it's evident when he plays.

    he shoots a lot of jumpers now, and he's shooting 49.9% as a whole this year.

    now wade on the other hand is penetrating more than ever and he's shooting 49.6%.

    hopefully he continues to develop that and makes his jumpshot even more lethal, which will prolong his career. that and a dominant post game.

    that's too short of a time span to determine clutchness in my opinion. b/c in that case, dirk is the clutchest player in the game, and we all know that is not true.

    on the other hand, wade is considered of the most clutchest players in the L and he's the worst on that list.

    i think clutchness is basically any close games that go down in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter where every possession counts. lebron has done extremely well in that department.

    however, he has struggled mightily for a 2 week stretch recently. so he deserves the criticism.

    Wow that is an awesome stat! Can we get it for the last 10 seasons instead of the last 3?

    Of course not. It wouldn't be as interesting because everyone's numbers would start regressing towards the mean. Then people might be able to figure out that this whole "clutch" thing is really only in our heads.

    Nice list but where are the elite wingmen on that list?

    Where's Trevor Ariza or Terrence Williams?

    It is. I feel that people are too short-sighted. What it is is that Lebron hasn't really had that many opportunities to imprint a moment in the finals in peoples' minds. The one time he made it, they were severely over-matched.

    funny thing is, seeing this made me wonder what t-mac's 10-15 was because I always here people raving about he has a midrange game for a long time....just gonna say...he doesn't lol....and it's never improved, it's reasonably consistent...

    His best year in the last since 2007 has been 2008
    at rim -> 56%
    10-15 -> 41%
    16-23 -> 43%

    that's not horrible but it's not elite...

    this year......lol

    at rim -> 65%.....wow lol!
    3- 9 feet -> 40%
    10-15 feet-> 25% lol!
    16-23 feet->41%

    this year he's much improved at the rim than he was with us in 2008...omg.

    LMAO wow the most amount of fgs here is 26! And we're supposed to believe that these guys suck or are clutch based on just 26 tries? These guys take that many shots on just one game. Try again :rolleyes:

    I certainly expect one of the best players in the league to improve his jumpshot. What's ridiculous it's that it has taken him 8 years to do so. That being said, good for him. He is finally rounding out his game.

    LeBron not having a jumper has been a myth for a long time. Even funnier when people say his jumper is nothing like Kobe yet his hot spot chart said otherwise and that wasn't just this year.
