Good job and way to own it.

You were condescending and at times seemed to speak from a point of view of fact. You were very harsh, and outspoken. You quieted people as being fools. That is why people are jumping on you. Frankly you deserve it.

Just because you admit it, and eat it ,doesn't mean that it wasn't harsh/rude belligerent in it's delivery from you... I know people have been beating you up ,and I think that you are a good guy ,and good poster besides your force feeding of ideas.

When you dominate the thought ,,and the opinion of everyone, it makes everyone annoyed by you. I'm not saying that I rooted against brooks, but there were times where I was happy brooks was sucking, solely because you were so high horse about it all the time..

I sometimes feel myself feeling happy when budinger screws up (call it the DD effect) ..and I hate myself for it since I remember first seeing bud stroke 3's for the rockets, and loving the fact that we have a larry bird version 2.0.. then you came along, and I grew to not like budinger... since you havent been on here, and bud is playing better, I have found myself liking bud again. I don't even know you, and I feel this way because you posted so much. I feel like I do know you because you posted so much... so get on the lowry bandwagon.. clutch fans are like jesus we can forgive and turn the other cheek.. maybe it's because we have chuck hayes.

Just my 2 cent from another anonymous poster at clutchcity

Hope you can be around more again but not so harsh on the other guy when it comes to stuff like this..It makes you look arrogant ,and when you are wrong, you get all kinds of anonymous people biatch slapping you. Sometimes you are right, and sometimes you are wrong. In this case well..:p

/good thread OP passing around a little crow
//for the record I was wrong about budinger

Great point. Where are the Morey haters? Maybe I should start a thread like this with some quotes from MadMax and friends :p.

This thread is not about the people who switched sides this year. There was a small group of posters that wanted Lowry to start last year during Brooks "career year".

for all of those who have a comprehension problem in this thread, OF COURSE those quotes were made BEFORE Lowry became the starter and MOST of the debate was LAST season, but THIS thread is to remind the Lowry haters that crow is a dish best served cold.. Always been a K-Low supporter when AB was tearing it up last year because AB consistently got owned by the more talented and bigger PG's, Lowry not so much, and ppl that know basketball recognized the potential greatness way back last year

Don't bother, the response will be something sarcastic, lazy and outlandish. Probably something along the lines of "oh really, I must have missed when this team won a championship under Morey."

Lowry dishing out 7-8 assists while scoring 15 and grabbing 4-5 rebounds is way, way better for the team then when AB was scoring 20 and doing nothing else. Yeah he would have games with high assist numbers at times, but his overall contribution isn't the same as Kyle's... This coming from someone who absolutely loved brooks and thought Lowry would never be able to take his starting spot.

Lol, why do some people come in here and justify people's responses by saying that these quotes were said last year?

The whole point is that people failed to see Lowry's potential.

I never got myself into the Brooks/Lowry debate...but I will say that I didnt see Lowry shoot as well as he has.

    Props to DD.

Apparently a "silent majority" disagrees with you, since it's a 4-star thread.

They're nothing but good. Maybe some people will learn not to be so condescending on the forums for once.

Especially when they are so obviously wrong.

Considering how big of a Lowry supporter I am/was, should I be offended that I didn't make that list? LOL

This. Not even the Lowry supporters were tooting Lowry's "potential" of having a legit jumper. They were mostly saying that EVEN THOUGH Lowry couldn't shoot, he was still a better starter than Brooks. That point, of course, was debatable.

I was one of the people who thought that IF (a big fat IF) Lowry ever got a reliable outside shot, he could be an all-star. I am as surprised as anybody for his shooting this season.
