trading luis' scoring capability would be a HUGE blow to our offensive game. Trust me--- the trade off with his DEFENSE IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.
PP deserves and needs playing time to fulfill his potential. If we don't score that star within a year, maybe even this summer, then they really need to start looking at rebuilding completely and get rid of scola, maybe martin.
Scola for deron williams and hoping Patterson will just soar?!? It's not gonna happen, that would be going absolutely 3 steps back. Who wants D-will anyway?? His ego is similar to brooks.
I want D-Will on the team although without a legit center, it would be pointless and I'm not going to count on the Rox landing DHoward.
His ego is NOT similar to Brooks. Even if it was, Williams is one of the best, if not THE best, PG in the game. If you're the best at what your position, then you're allowed to talk.
Y do u guys want a star pg so bad? We have a solid 1-2 punch in Lowry and Dragic, we need to focus on getting a solid big this summer and we are set. I just cant believe Morey gave Brad the MLE for 3 or 4 years...
you might be right and i absolutely must stress how much i like the guy but defense will always win you games before your offense. Budinger, Scola and Martin are all average defenders and with a 6'6 center we need length and athleticism at PF - we have that with Pat. Patterson's jumper is just as smove as Luis' he just needs to learn how to tango, and could even learn a thing or 2 about hill's jump hook
ok, perhaps youre right. In fact you are. I know D-will is actually known for WANTING to win, and I kind of confused myself with that whole Sloan episode. Either way, if we land D-will this would be a completely different team so honestly...if it happens then it happens...but i'm not gonna worry about speculating this or that
And the hardest to get, won't bank on it. I rather go for Gasol, Jordan or Chandler in the offseason and upgrade other positions as we go.
What a great day for basketball. When this game started, I was honestly just hoping for the Rockets to keep this thing close and maybe be able to pull it out in the 4th. Then this team came out swinging... and for a while the Celtics were swinging back, but when they saw this game wasn't going to be as easy as they had hoped, they tried to bully their way toward a victory. Instead of backing down, though, the Rockets responded by punching even harder. That's when the Celtics just went over to their corner and never came back. Great win, and now that this team is just 1 and a half games back and it seems the Grizzlies are struggling a little bit, this playoff race just got a lot more interesting. We'll see who really wants that final spot in the West.
HAHA, please do. The one advantage Denver had on OKC was Nene but now Perkins will take care of him. Tonight was a good example of how valuable Perk was to the Celts.
Denver's been a "very strong offensive team" for how long? Denver isn't the team you should be refering to. That lineup hasn't accomplished anything more than a run at this point. They may keep it up, but then you could argue so could we (the current play). For either team, the sample is very small. Either could go the opposite way the rest of the season. Not to mention you're ignoring the other more accomplished teams, who do it year after year and have a star or stars.
