We owe the Jazz a real butt-whoopin'. I sincerely hope we deliver a hide-tanning like they haven't seen in a long while....that last game against them left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Icing on the cake would be Brad Miller going off and making 20 points against them.

I really doubt they would give Lopez.

I still wouldn't mind Aldrich from OKC, he has potential to be a defensive anchor. Maybe Okc would be willing to take on Scola for Aldrich, to give them some offense inside the paint. Which they lack...

We could also trade Scola to SA for Tiago Splitter. Given that their trying to squeeze one more championship out the Duncan era. Scola would definitely help with that.

Adelman on now really praising Chuck, says there's got to be some way to get him on the All Defensive team.

Garnett did his usual bullying (cheap shoves, throwing shoulders, etc). Hayes stepped up to him, was like "Man, STFU." and walked away. Double tech. Next three minutes, Hayes destroyed Garnett twice with his signature defensive strip and KG didn't mess with him any more.

patterson is a good piece but all these people saying he needs to replace scola and trade scola are vastly in need of a perception boost

If Memphis lose's the next 3 games, and we win the next 3, we'll take their spot.... Right?

Chuck giving props to The Hard G for his D the last two games. That extra energy on that end of the court has hurt his offense a bit, but we score enough most of the time to offset that.

Was that the first time we beat the celtics at the Toyota center?

I aint hating on Luis, i admire him so much but the fact is he is a liability on defense.. his post game is incredible and his jumper is very reliable but he just flat out sucks on D, and has little athleticism to block or change shots.

We aren't going to contend with this current team so i say trade Luis for a decent defensive center.

Scola is turning 31 this season. I think he will continue to work hard and maintain his conditioning. He will decline, but I don't think the Rockets have to worry about that right now.

Morey isn't actively shopping him in particular, and I guarantee you he won't end up like Brooks.

Nets were interested in Scola during the summer. May be we will be to swing a deal for D. Williams by including Scola in some package. With the emergence of Patterson, I believe there is high likelihood that Scola will be dealt by end of next year.
