HTC Thunderbolt accessories? Has anyone found any good sites with Thunderbolt specific accessories? I'm looking for a desktop charger in which the phone would stand upright as well as a phone specific car holder/mount. I'm not looking for one of those universal car holders that expands w/the spring either. So far I've purchase a couple of cases and chargers but haven't been able to find much else for it. I guess since the phone's so new there's not a lot of things available for it yet.
They have the car holder/mounts you're loooking for at VZW at the store in Spring Texas, in front of the walmart. I even saw them have the extended batteries. not the slim ones, so prepare for the bulge
Thanks Scionxa! I'll have to check out the Verizon store in Pearland to see if they have any of the car mounts. What kind of battery life are you seeing so far on your Tbolt? Is this a phone I would need to charge every night / overnight?
You do need to charge alot, however I just found a fix Download phone info from sc@taiwan and change the phones mode from CDMA+LTE to CDMA AUTO PRL. This will switch you to 3g, and your battery life becomes wayyyy better.
of course the major point of this phone is the 4g but for when it is idle or when you're at work. 3G time i wish that app had a toggle though. There is also a more "official" way if you don't like doing stuff with apps dial *#*#4636#*#* and change to CDMA PRL auto
Yup , i wonder if the seido 1600 mah will be better? i hate those big extended batteries, even though it'll probably last me the entire day
it depends how you calculate things, 1300mah battery = 8 hours... so going by that, an extra 300mah will only add at most 2 hours, if you think that spending $50, $99, etc is worth 2 hours... all relative i guess the bionic will have a 1900mah battery some of the smaller phones with equal power have at least 1500mah batteries... htc is losing ground on their android line, because repackaging the evo for the 3rd time just isn't going to work
See, I like HTC due to the fact that in the root community, it's extremely customizeable. Hopefully seido can come out a slim battery that's around 1800 i've figured a couple of tricks for this phone to increase battery life if any of you guys want to PM me or just have me update in thread. Although, the thread title is misleading now that's its turned into a Tbolt conversation lol. Speaking of 4g , it seems to work almost EVERYWHERE in houston.
Speed test Here are my pics from the speed test I did with my Tbolt vs. my home AT&T DSL Pro service. I used the Seattle, WA path for both tests. Spoilered due to pic size. HTC Tbolt 4GLTE speed test: Spoiler Home AT&T DSL Pro speed test: Spoiler I'm in Pearland so I'm not sure how that impacts my 4GLTE speeds but as you can see it's still faster than my home DSL Pro service with AT&T. Unfortunately not as fast as Scionxa's results though.
Just figured I'd try the speed test using as far a hop distance available. But then again I don't know how many hops it really takes from here to their Seattle, WA location.
This thread convinced me. Walked into a verizon store today and walked out with a thunderbolt on a 1 year contract. buh bye Webos. Having trouble logging into my google account. Anyone hear of google having problems?
You can make a shortcut to this on a homescreen. I have on on my Settings homescreen (I toggle between 3G Only and 2G Only on CM7 which doesn't have it in the Settings). Use LauncherPro and make a Shortcut to Activities (under Settings, find "Testing") ooorr get BetterCut and use that to make a shortcut to the Testing menu.
