Bass guitar. Been playing for 7 years already, my parents first bought me acoustic guitar and their ultimatum was to learn acoustic first before buying me electric bass... Sold the acoustic after 3 weeks, couldn't stand playing it, got a bass after one year and rocking it since
On any given day, I play a combination of: Guitar Piano Recorder Violin Bass Kazoo Melodica Lap harp Autoharp Drums of various shapes and sizes Percussion (triangle, cymbals, guiro, agogo, cowbell, etc.) Plus I sing with a professional opera company, rehearsal three nights a week. Plus I direct music for a church, leading the adult, youth, and handbell choirs. I stay busy.
Electric bass for ~25 years, upright bass for ~10 years, and electric guitar for ~ 8 years. Work gets in the way of steady practicing and performing these days.
Played alto saxaphone in middle school and was really good at it (first chair all-city), but just didn't care enough about it to continue playing into high school. I can still pick it up and stumble through some scales and songs, but that's about it at this point. Other than that, I mess around on my guitar and keyboard sometimes, but by no means do I "know how to play" them.
I play Acoustic and Electric guitar nearly on an every day basis. Also have a keyboard I mess around on from time to time. Used to play piano when I was a kid.
I'm the lead vocalist in our band, I play the acoustic and electric guitars regularly, and I play piano and violin every now and then. I picked up a didgeridoo when I was in Australia last year, and am trying to learn how to play it. I'm also in the process of getting a sitar shipped from India as we speak.
guitar, although its extremely boring to play lead without a loop station of some sort. I like playing rythm more anyways
Professionally - Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet Recreationally - Guitar, Piano I'm thinking of picking up bass. It seems that there are a lot of ****ty bass players out there and there's always a need for a good one. I already know my way around a fretboard and can read music in bass clef and can do more than thump out the roots of chords and simple arpeggios.
