...and the Heat lost to the Thunder by your logic above, the Heat losing is no big deal... You need to get your head examined because you are killing your own argument
Westbrook shot 5-16 and had 6 turnovers. I would hardly call that torching. And how quickly you've forgotten Wade's smackdown of your boy Kobe.
I was responding to this stupid argument in the first place. So you basically just contradicted yourself and "killed your own argument".
Dude, This whole argument started when you posted the above conclusion That somehow beating the Heat, a team that has proving by play and by record, they are nowhere near the team they were hyped up to be-that somehow means the Thunder are going to be in the WCF.
LeBron and Wade didn't downplay their effort and sounded almost satisfied with how they lost tonight.
No. The argument started with this statement That somehow you think just because the Thunder lack homecourt they won't beat Spurs. And I retort by telling you they just beat Miami Heat in their own homecourt (after they defeated the Lakers and blew out the Spurs). And please tell me why you think they aren't capable of beating Denver,
Has the performance of Two and a Half Men in the second half been touched upon yet? I understand I'm quite late.
wow the big 3 were a big 0 in the 2nd half. their defense was on tonight. credit the thunder's D, but i'm sure it's a rare sighting that all 3 suck majorly at the same time
i'm not sure what they should be unsatisfied with (i guess offensive rebounds, a lot of which i though were either because of trying to rotate all over the place and some just because ibaka and perkins had the height/size/athleticism advantage), certainly not from an effort stand point. lebron played all out on durant and didn't let him get to the basket once when guarding him and, even though he took some dumb 3's, wade was pretty relentless at going to the basket (and guarded westbrook well). when the big 3 shoot 4-24 in the 2nd half and with 1 minute to go two terrible shooters like westbrook and sefolosha have as many 3's (on 11 fewer attempts) as the whole heat team, and then on the one run you have left the refs dial up a 6 point missed call, it's probably just not your night.
I dont want to get too detailed because I'm tired, but Denver is more balanced and deeper at each position. They also have better benchplay If you haven't noticed, they have been the hottest team other than LA since the trade deadline. Oh yeah, they also have a better ,more playoff experienced coach As I stated before, The Thunder will not make it out of the second round--BOOK IT
The prophet that has no clue has spoken. Despite the fact both teams are very different than before, haven't played each other, that depth doesn't matter as much in the playoffs, that Denver no longer has a "go to" player while OKC has two, that OKC has looked dominant recently and that late season "hotness" doesn't necessarily translate once the real season starts... Book it! LOL!
His final line was that OKC would not make it out of the 2nd round. Which would mean the Spurs. Yet the whole argument was about Denver.
