12 blocks is great. But the young fans haven't seen Hakeem play.

Damn, at the end he was dying for that tripple dobble, that was very pathetic, but still impressive.

Anyone catch Kevin McHale clowning him for this? Pretty funny stuff:

After watching that, I went from being impressed to feeling like I got Ricky Davis'd. But 12 blocks is still impressive.

Well this really pisses me off. I took Wizards +16, thinking that for once they could cover a spread, and I saw at work on the ticker that the lead just kept growing right at the end. Guys need to learn the value of covering the spread.

All I said was that it hasn't happened in a while. So if something happens once every 5 years or 10 years... it is something exciting. Chill out homie.

Pair him with Chris Paul and he will be the next Tyson Chandler.

He is still really raw on offence, too weak in the post. Relies almost 100% on athleticism.

The last time someone had 12 blocks was in March, 2001 (Keon Clarke).

God No. I realize from an outsider you just see his blocks in the box score and it looks impressive. What you don't see is his terrible offense and decision making, his clueless-ness in positioning himself on offense and defense, goaltends, wildly swatting at shots only to give up offensive rebounds, getting backed down to the rim by any big man with a shred of muscle.

The guy has ridiculous length and can run and jump. He possess no other skill or quality attribute worth mentioning, and hasn't shown any evidence that he'll give a consistent effort or listen to his coaches.

I was just making a general comment about young fans. No need to take it personal. Chill out.
