So you consider the Knicks to be a Finals contender?

Yes, that series was a huge upset. The Cavs were 8-0 in the playoffs and almost undefeated in the regular season at home.

Hollinger and every other writer except Tim Legler also picked the Lakers to beat the Celtics in 2008. And I'm quite certain they all thought the Lakers would sweep the Pistons in 2004. So upsets happen. Does that keep us from making predictions?

Anyway, Miami in 4, 5 at worst. Philly would actually be a tougher 1st round matchup than the no-D Knicks.

Heat just beat the two best teams in the west in Lakers and Spurs, and people think they will lose to the Knicks? Lost for words on that one.

You can tell the people who have not watched the Heat the last few games, as they are playing great team basketball, and winning without Lebron needing to score, and Bosh is showing the NBA why he is a top 5 PF in the league again by his inside play.

Right, but you forget that the Knicks are 2 spots away from the Heat having played almost the entire season with ONE all star, and now they have THREE....

I don't really care which round they'd lose. But I know when they do, the LeBron nuthuggers will take a hibernate.

What does "take a hibernate" mean? ESL, just one hour a day man! The time you spend here could be spent learning 1st grade English.

Heat would destroy them. NYC might get one win, but that's about it. Don't let that silly game a couple weeks back fool you into thinking otherwise.

He will be "taking a hibernate" when it comes time to pay up the $100 he's going to owe the site.

I certainly will pay when it's due. Unlike you, I stick to my words.

I still remember how clippy described how I would disappear after finals and he ended up nowhere to be found for a few weeks. Talking about a clown.

I hope you do. I'll believe it when I see it.

This forum has a search feature. Go ahead and find out where I said that. I disappeared during the off-season and returned in November. I don't have much of a life, but I guess I must have a bigger one than you since I don't feel a pressing need to be on an NBA forum when the NBA isn't even going on. Just a heads-up: I won't be here during the lockout either.

Miami is going to do everything it can do avoid NY in the first round, without refs giving countless free throws to wade and ledouche, heat will not beat the knicks

I think the Knicks are the only team in the bottom of the Eastern playoffs picture capable of doing it.

Heat fan's fear Pacers a lot more then New York.
Miami will sweep New York, as Miami plays D, and New York doesn't.

LOL, you don't have any integrity. You were all over the place when Celtics took the 3-2 lead and ducked in no time after finals.

Pacers up 2 on the "dangerous" Knicks with 0.3 left thanks to Granger.

Knicks are now 6-6 since acquiring Melo. If there was a team worth a darn at the bottom half of the East, Knicks would be in trouble but they're in the right conference.

Exactly. I just can't see them being able to focus long enough to give the Heat a legit challenge over 7 games. Even moreso than the Heat, the Knicks have no identity.
