My two cents. That little lad kid got what he deserved. You see little scummy rats like that all around Australia. I just feel bad for the fat kid cause he's gonna get shat on when the little rat calls his inbred family/scum friends to deal with him.

Seriously, though, I wonder if we'd all still be cheering if the bully actually died.

I just don't understand what the school expected the kid to do. Stand there and take it until the bully was finished, then go and tell a teacher/principal so they could say "we'll look into it"? Not to mention get made a fool of on camera? Maybe suffer a few injuries along the way too. From what we can see, this was 100% self defense, so I see no reason for punishing him.

The way schools handle this stuff is horrific. Kids are minding their own business, doing nothing wrong, taking verbal and physical abuse, telling teachers/principals and then standing around and waiting for it to continue while nothing is done. When they finally reach their breaking point, they are the ones that usually look like the bad guy (when it's not on film). What were they supposed to do though?

I grew up being bullied and because of it had had nearly no friends, had a low self esteem, was constantly in counseling, had daily suicidal thoughts, and to this day still look at myself as someone that is below most others and someone not worthy of being here.

Schools seem to prefer to put this stuff on the back burner, or try to hide it so they don't look bad. What they don't realize, or refuse to acknowledge, is that these kids being bullied are suffering pain that could last a lifetime. Not only this, but when they do lash out after taking it for so long, who knows what the consequences could be. Someone could end up being killed.

I really wish something could be done about this. Maybe mandatory security guards per student at schools, or more security cameras. Possibly even harsher penalties (of course, this would hurt the ones being bullied as well if they lash out and fight back).

Unfortunately there always have been, and always will be, people that feel like they have the right to verbally and physically abuse others. I suppose they do this to make themselves look better in other peoples eyes, and in their own. All I know is, I don't see anything changing anytime soon. With nothing changing, I can only see it leading to more depression, suicide, fighting, and death. I wouldn't think the school would want any of that, but first things first...they have to look good in the eye of the public, so they will put it on the back burner...at least until a giant public event (maybe like this one) takes place.

    Just my two cents.

this kind of reminds me of my childhood. There was this small little boy scout kid in our street who used to try to act like a bully and pick on everyone. One day he got into a fight with this other kid in our street, well they ended up having a street fight and the other kid ended up giving the bully a black eye.

There was also a time when that boy scout picked on me and teased me because I was chinese. He pissed me off so bad once I picked up and threw him on the ground just like that boy did in this video only i think I threw him in the grass.

i figured he would have learned his lesson getting his ass beat twice by me and the other kid in the neighborhood but it didn't. He continued to be a peice of S*** bully and once even blew his nose and wiped it on my face. I nearly choked him to death after he did this and same thing, dude never learned his lesson. I mean the guy went to school with a black eye and had everyone asking him about it yet he still remained a prick...i didn't get it.

So do we know for sure that the defender was punished and the bully not?

Bully gets a 22 day suspension, a bad limp, and some embarrassment, overweight kid gets a 4 day suspension and what probably amounts to a much need boost to his self-esteem, school gets to tell each side "well, we suspended the other guy too, as well the ability to say, " we will not tolerate violence--even reciprocal violence." Seems fair all the way around to me.

Youtube's been extremely fast in pulling down these videos. Heres a good mashup

The dude just seems like a complete douche. From that picture with the crutches to have dtf in your facebook name to telling someone they need to be raped. Good stuff to the big guy.

Looks like they've made a website for him and are trying to reach his parents to start a college fund. It looks like this is also a place you can go to view the video without worry that it will be removed.

    agree with Pole.

Suspensions seem right. Kid was in a fight so he gets four days. No big deal. I'd be OK with the suspension if it was my kid. Other kid got 22 so it's clear the school knows it was his fault...time to move on.
