1) That's hardly "way better" when the numbers are practically the same (it's a safe assumption to that LBJ was better in every other category too). 2) LBJ took a team of nobodies to to the Finals where they were expected to get swept. Kobe rode the coattails of 3 HOFers to the Finals where they were expected to sweep. Instead, because he refused to feed Shaq (who was being single covered and shot over 60% against midgets) and took twice as many shots as anyone else, they basically got swept themselves. No question which performance was worse.
that's lebron in his early years. and he was the only all-star on that team. he never duplicated that kind of series since, and most likely will never again. how the hell do you put up those #s when you have a prime shaq on your team? how? that alone makes that a ridiculously bad series for kobe. and kobe did duplicate a similar performance vs the thunder last year in the first round where he shot 39-40% for the series.
Shaq clogged the lane, it would make LeBron's life miserable. Didn't we see how LeBron and Shaq never clicked last year? Plus, LeBron's number isn't significantly different since his 3rd year. Your excuse is lame. Don't forget Cavs would have been No.6 in west that year, Spurs happened to be No.3. He should be thankful he's in the least conference. Or his nickname will be LeTracy by now. And Kobe was on an bad ankle in the first round, not to mention his broken finger. Do I need to remind you LeBron skipped five games on a sprained thumb? And if you want to talk about bad series, check LeBron's series against Celtics in 08, his number wasn't pretty either.
Yes, they were supposed to be swept, if they're in west, they'd be No.6, and got swept in first round. See how a weak conference can help you? LeBron's record against 50wins team in playoff series, 1W5L. Kobe' record against 50wins team in the same period. 10W3L. It's not even close.
This is true. But LBJ's numbers in his 2nd year were better than Kobe's have ever been. Kobe = overrated chucker who has ridden big men to titles. Today's game was a perfect example. The moment he gets "injured" the team goes on a run because they actually move the ball. The moment he "heroically returns", they blow the lead and almost lose the game due to his horrible chucking.
LOL, he had a 9-0 run in 2nd quarter, in which he scored 6 points and dished a 3pt assist. Guess you are blind. LBJ sucked his teammates number and got them worse. It doesn't matter whether his number's better. Because everywhere he goes, their teammates get worse. Even his superfriends ain't immuned from that. LeChoker nutthuggers talked about 73 wins before the season started, now they are talking how the team isn't built for this year, but next 4, 5 years. Excuses after excuses.
Aren't you the one always harping about "clutch" performances? I'm talking about the 4th quarter, douchebug, when Kobe returned and the team fell apart because, despite his alleged "injury", he decided to chuck up horrible shots instead of passing to his bigs. Luckily he got bailed out yet again by Artest (oh yeah, I forgot, that's part of the gameplan). Really? Because it seems like the Cavs players got worse to me. LOL @you trying to justify him hurting a team that goes from the best record in the NBA to the worst. Meanwhile, Kobe's teams have done better with him out of the lineup than with (see the first threepeat and last year, when they beat the Spurs, Utah, and Portland with Kobe sitting out due to "injury"). Also, the Heat have pretty much the same record as the Lakers so LBJ must be doing something right.
Right, so how did Fisher, Gasol do in the same period? Gosh, at least he made one and got Artest a favorable match under the rim for a put back. Lakers held the lead and won the game, so whatever excuse you put up doesn't matter. Just like how Lakers won game 7 of last finals and you disappeared, whatever excuses you put up with didn't matter. And LBJ this, LBJ that. He got superfriends for a season and they were No.6 in the league. A ball hog just can't click with other stars. Kobe got Gasol for 20 games and they were able to get the best record in west. There's no comparison.
LOL @"favorable position". Yeah, that's Kobe's fault. I think Kobe's ballsack in your mouth is blocking your vision, you delusional twit. The Heat are on pace for the same record as the Lakers in 2008. Your Chinese propaganda tactics won't worth with me. Also, some idiots here though that LeBron had a good supporting cast, one that could even make the playoffs this year. Yeah, he didn't take the Heat to 70 wins but he didn't take the Cavs to 70 losses either.
Marion had to defend Kobe and left Artest on Kidd. That has nothing to do with Artest's rebound? Kobe just ****ed you too hard and you got mad like b****es being discarded.
goodbug, do you admit kobe sucked balls in this game? you reason kobe was fouled vs the heat so he didn't choke. but tonight, who helped marion out for shutting down kobe? god?
He probably answer you, guy with 5 rings is allowed to suck once in a while. Guys without rings like Lebron are not allowed to suck a single game else he is considered choking, quitting and unclutch!
he had a 15.6/36.7 against the pacers, his first finals. edit: also, a 8.8/31.6 against utah in '97. also, a 10.0/36.7 against utah in '98.
He was fouled like hell on that shot. If you didn't see, even Wade's face was shocked when he didn't get a call. no 6'8 man, Kobe or Matt Harpring will airball a shot like that when someone shorter is on them. there was contact that didn't get called.
i doubt the bball IQ, he couldn't operate well in several great systems playing with some great players. He was a great scorer, he just needed some brains.
HAHAHAHA too funny, but yeah TMAC had a great build to be a great scorer, but to compare him to JORDAN or KOBE is saying Hasheem could be Hakeem. IT's just not possible
