That's why he told Morey not to trade Budinger.

Patterson changed the game in the second half with his help defense and overall hustle. The guy was outstanding for the team tonight.

So obviously, when there are 6 minutes left and the game is on the line, the most effective strategy would be to take him out and never put him back in...

That was an absolute stroke of genius.

Thats because the Spurs have won championships the past two years and all the Rockets have done is reach the 2nd round once.

we have been saying the samething since allstar break. "we have to win the next 5 out 6 games. then we loos. next game is critical. we loos again, then we convince our self again we have a chance." to make the payoffs?

Blame most of it on refs not all of it. A lot of questionable possessions down the stretch. KMart's shot super flat and brick, Courtney Lee can't finish for shet.

and Oh my at Chase Budinger defence... why da hell does he sag off his check with out real double teaming. Has no one told him that is one of the worst things you can do on D, you either double hard or don't double at all.

Here's another admirably officiated game by the NBA's referees.

On a side note, kudos to Manu Gynecology for his robust acting.

I would rather give Miller's minutes to Thabeet at least he will block some shots and get some rebounds. Miller gets out played when he is out there. If RA does decide not to come back, I hope he takes Miller with him.

Pat had the Spurs worried every time they drove the lane. His stat line does not tell the tale; he was beastly. Pat changed so many shots, got to so many 50/50 balls, and was just hustling all over the place, it was ridiculous. The Momentum sat the bench with Pat. Chuck, god bless him, came in and Spurs eyes lit up with glee; they ran in with no fear. there were at least 3 times they drove in to get buckets with Chuck waiting for a charge were as Pat would have jumped for it.

Adelman should have kept Pat in, but we probably still lose and ask why Chuck wasn't in the game.. sigh...

    Brad Miller instead of PPat?
someone post the pic of Miller resting his head on Adelmans shoulder in 10, 9, 8...

Don't like to blame refs but when it is that blatant......

Thought K Mart was going to sock one of the refs down the stretch...The Call against C Lee on Duncan was ultra bad, couple that with the two non calls when he was driving in for lay ups??????

Still,I LOVE MY TEAM! Way to go guys, fought hard until the very end.

Even if the refs sucked badly tonight the spurs outplayed us on the clutch. We need to have a go to guy who can score attacking the rim. I really like kyles game , but courtney lee can also give us this.
Still great effort, patpat played very good d, so did clee. Kmart is a ghost on defense, when his man gets a screen, thats all, he is lost on the play, he dosent even try to go around it, i really hate that kind of effort from a guy who is so good on the offensive end.
