LeBron's 2 MVP are most undeserving in NBA history.
We heard how MVP makes teammates better. LeBron not only threw his teammates under the bus by doing the "decision" and joined another alpha dog to be a second fiddle. But also proved his scrub teammates helped him better than his superfriends do.

    MOC

Instead of MVP, DRose deserves the MOC - Most Overrated Chucker.

I guess you missed the part where the kid jumped from the Tmac bandwagon to the Lebron one. He's been lobbying for Lebron for MVP before the season even started.

Rose isn't a inefficient chucker like Iverson. He plays defense also.

He has a career average 47% and 90%, FG% and FT%, which is great for a point guard. He plays good defense, unlike Iverson.

Plus-Minus is not a great stat to judge a player on. It is too dependent on the backup of the starting player. A mediocre player on a team with a horrible bench will have an inflated +/- rating. A good player on a good team, will have a bench unit(not just 1 player) that can compete against other team's 2nd units.

A bench player may have a good +/- rating, because they play on a good 2nd unit against another team's 2nd unit. You could make that bench player a starter, where they have to compete with Rose/Paul/Rondo, and the +/- rating starts dropping like a rock.

Chicago is 17th in offensive rating, and 1st in defense.

Rose is a great player, but how much is Chicago's improvement this year related to what he's doing, and how much is related to far superior defense? Though I don't want to discount Rose's improvement on the defensive end, but he is still basically an average-at-best defender, right?

I'd probably give the MVP to Dwight Howard.

Check out mysynergysports.com Rose is a good defensive guard. It measures each defensive play.

    LOL if Rose wins MVP.

Thibbs does not get enough credit for his defensive coaching.

Rose and Boozer are still liabilities defensively but Thibbs has installed a great defensive system in Chicago which Rose has no impact on.

Rose is the best offensive player but he is not really that efficient with his scoring.

D12 should be MVP especially after improving his offensive game.

It never asks me to log in. I click on this link. He holds the opposing player to 37.6% FG shooting on his defensive plays. It's good for 33rd place, which is great in a league with 30 teams 8 rotation players(30 x 8=240).

They haven't played Portland in weeks.

If one has to go back 15-20 games to find 1 bad defensive game, Rose being bad in 1 out of 20 games is good.

Lmao ! My question was rhetorical! No, there isn't any argument against Rose's MVP campaign. Anything after that is delusional.

Rose is most certainly not a chucker? I bet the only Bulls game you watch is when they play us..

+1. i think dwight has been the most valuable player this year b/c he dominates on both ends.

with chicago, i think their defense has more to do with their success than rose's improvement. don't get me wrong, without rose, they wouldn't have this record. but even if rose is out of a prolonged period of time, the bulls would still be able to hold their own b/c of their defense.

like i said, an ESPN article came out where rose's +/- #s are the same when he's on or off the floor.

that's all i'm saying. the bulls have THE BEST DEFENSE in the L right now bar none.

unless you guys agree that rose is one of their top 4 defenders, he's not making the impact on that end like a dwight howard is (who is also dominating offensively)

Their defense has more to do with their success than Rose's improvement? . You got it backwards. Their success is because of their defense and Rose's improvement. Their defense can't be a result of success. Success is an end not a cause.

watch their 2nd unit play my man. more often than not, they either keep what the score is when the first unit leaves, or EXTEND it. rarely do they get down and force the first unit to recover.

and their 2nd unit has only korver as a legit offensive player. why? it's b/c of asik and their ridiculous defense.

it was the same case with mcgrady in the 22 game winning streak. he was inefficient, didn't play ridiculously great, BUT GOT MVP HYPE b/c the team was winning. he was like #2 in most media polls until we started losing.

EDIT: rose is shooting 39% in his last 10 games. MVPs should not play worse as you reach march/april. you should get better. the bulls can overcome his poor shooting and still win is b/c of their defense.
