Why does everyone continue to think that Morey had PPatt going #6 in the draft.

Patterson was #6 on Moreys Draft board of players they thought might be available. Meaning out of all the players that Morey had his eye on, Patterson was #6 on that list. Not that he thought Patterson would be the 6th overall pick.

Just wanted to clear that up for everyone

My understanding is that Morey had him rated 6th best player over all. Hence the excitement when they got him at 14. Incidentally, he was also rated 6th best by nbadraft.net.

No he specifically said that Patterson was 6 on his draft board. Meaning in the order that they wanted players... Pat was #6. So he had only five players before Pat that they wanted to take.

Portland losing tonight. i know everyone's ruled out that they could possibly drop

Look at this part of their schedule though, coming up in a couple of weeks:

    Mar 25vsSan Antonio

    Mar 27@Oklahoma City

    Mar 28@San Antonio

    Mar 30@New Orleans

    Apr 1 vs Oklahoma City

    Apr 3 vs Dallas

In addition to this BRUTAL stretch, they play the Lakers twice and Dallas once more (Mar 15)

That's good, it should give the Phoenix Suns a shot to get in the playoffs!

And that's all I really care about in terms of the playoffs..

This is the thing that has always worried me with Martin. Towards the end of the season and especially in the playoffs, refs aren't going to be calling any ticky tack fouls. He'll have to play with a different mindset down the stretch....just play and not worry about fouls.

Poster above me is being optimistic...that's if we beat Phoenix...Lowrys barrage of threes is what kept the Rockets in the game.

Our schedule isn't too shabby either...even though they only have two more back to backs, half of the teams left on the schedule are playoff bound. You really can't even pencil in a W for the other half either unless the Clippers (who just beat the Rockets), Jazz, Timberwolves, Warriors decide to tank the rest of the way.

Martin will need to step up....and hopefully Williams is busting his butt in practice so he can develop into the iso player that I believe every team needs. Phoenix has a crucial schedule coming up.

Why did you say No when you said exactly what I said. Morey had Pat at #6 on his draft board. He didnt think that Pat would be drafted at #6

Tanking is out of the question. There are many things that can go our way with 16 games left. I say go for it.

Which really sucks cause then in your analysis we will finish two games behind instead of just one... I have some sense of hope. The team is playing well at least and has become exciting to watch for the first time in this season.
