Kobe's fouled 3 times in the final minute without getting a call. Gasol once too. If you can grab and push people to ground without fouling, you can generate a lot of turnovers. Good luck with that in playoff when it's not in Miami. LeChoke won a lot in regular season but choke bad in playoff for a reason.
Kobe made 2 huge 3pointers to even keep them in the game. yes he turned it over and his team lost. but it was not like he didn't do anything.
Why does that sound familiar? Oh yeah, because that's what Lebron supporters have been saying for a while now. Kobe hit two big threes but had four bad plays at the end of the game. If it was Lebron, you would be calling that a choke job even if he had 60 points up to that point in the game. Since it's Kobe, you make sure to point out that "it's not like he didn't do anything."
this guy is the most hype, attention w**** that hasnt done jack sqaut that I have ever seen.. I have ZERO respect for this front running douche
I like Kobe a million times more than lebrick but yea Kobe messed up at the end altho it was him solely who had them in position to win the game, but oh well I bleed Rockets red so it matters none to me
LOL do you even realize LBJ has been shooting at a higher 3 pt percentage than Kobe for the last three years? He's also been hitting his clutch shots at a higher rate than Kobe for a while now.
You're right, he hasn't done squat. Except lead a mediocre supporting cast to 60+ wins in back-to-back seasons, lead the league in scoring, win multiple MVP awards...
It was only because of Kobe that they had a chance to win? Gasol's 20 points didn't help at all? Andrew Bynum's 11 second half rebounds weren't a factor? The Lakers outscored Miami in the third quarter while Kobe went 0-5 from the field and 1-2 from the free throw line. But you're right, it's still only because of Kobe that they were even in a position to win.
Thats right Kobe CHOKED in the biggest game of the season Thats why he shot jumpers afterward, SHOWBOATING, as an excuse
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdMiicQshQs Kobe flop at 2:54 on LeBron's screen There was a better video with a closer look but I'm having a hard time finding it.
2 regular season MVPS, best NBA record in each of those years. Yet he never reached the finals in those two seasons. Has anybody ever accomplished that failure twice?
So if he didn't win the MVP and those teams performed as expected (maybe 40 wins), would that be a better accomplishment? You and the other fanboys here obviously think highly of LeBron since he took a historically bad supporting cast (witness the Cavs' current record) to the top reocrd in the NBA AND Finals and yet that isn't enough for you. LeBron is so good in your eyes that you should be able to take any four players in the NBA and put him on his team and expect nothing less than a championship. I think he's very good.. but not quite that good. To wit, the Heat IMO are underperforming and being heavily criticized by everyone, yet will probably end up with one of the best records in the NBA.
if saying if your the MVP and have the best "team" in the league twice, and don't reach the finals.. how is that not a failure?
