at best it can be what Plano is to Dallas.
a real nice suburb. although plano has some 'downtown/mainstreet' deal to it.

It's an independent league. You can see better baseball played at Rice and UH.

I do know for a fact that people in the area are excited about an HEB being built at 90 and HWY 6  (no joke)

There is one on 99 and 59.

Its cheap, low crime, good schools, looks nice,Its downtown is a lot nicer than houston's.

It is what it is,suburbia. If I had a family I would definitely live there.

If it keeps people from migrating to Kingwood, I'm all for it!

Perhaps one of the oddests statements I've heard in a while. Thanks for the laugh.

We have one block in Houston that resembles Europe and that is that block on W.Grey in mid-town between Christian Tailgates and Frontporch Pub. If you hold up your hand beside your eye like horse blinders so you can't look past that block, then you can almost imagine what it is like in a European city.

Sugar Land can hope to be, at best, a Woodlands 2.

Minor league baseball? We have big league baseball in Houston. It's a burb. A burb that borders the ghetto.

I dont think Houston is considered a destination city, why would a suburb be?

Didn't some magazine rate Sugar Land as the 2nd best city to live in America a few years ago?

I was trying say was that Mo city is like the guy that works hard to provide the best for his family, doesn't want too much just enough to keep his life going and SL is the spoiled brat that thinks everything should be handed to him, drive fancy cars, big house with a indoor swimming pool. These are the 2 vibes I get from these two suburbs.

It's kind of like it's real easy to forget you're not in Italy when you are enjoying some authentic pasta at Olive Garden.
