    Oh yeah!

    Back to championship mode!

For about 10 games or so.

To add, if he was to come back, I hope they don't come out with a stupid minutes limit.
We all saw how that worked.

I really hope that the Yao can muster up some ilgauskas/Grant Hill-like recovery to play again for the rox.

For those of you who want Yao to go away.......I don't understand your sense of logic. Nobody expects anything out of him this time around.......so in essence anything that he can provide will be a bonus. Like others have said he still obliterates Miller or Thabeet so i would welcome him with open arms. Everyone knows including Yao that he probably will never be an all-star so sign him to a minimum contract and see if he has anything left in the tank !

That's the reason why we have to sign him again. If he can get out there and do anything that's automatically better than half the league. If the alternative is someone like dalembert or hibbert, I 'll take yao. Hopefully yao won't ask for too much.

what center out there can do what Yao can, having him as a back up center is still better than brad miller or what other teams have. I welcome Yao back. I hope he comes back and can be a starter.

:)...if the guy wants to play, let him play! *****, I'd still root for Yao if he plays backup C for the j*zz.

As long as they DON'T depend on him for anything other then backup minutes, sure. The moment they start talking about him being their franchise guy or depending on him to make a playoff run, i'd be VERY worried.

I hope Yao retires. He's got other things to occupy him, and the Rockets need to move on with him out of their plans.

That's what I'm sayin' even as a player-coach he'll have an Impact. We've all come to terms that he's not gonna be a huge impact, but just to have him finish his last season uninjured and uninterupted would have to be considered a successful comeback.

    Unlike Tiki Barber.

I hope he just takes less money. He's already made a ton. This way he helps the team and he won't be blamed as much, if he's injured again.

Why not? I mean if we're in a position to sign him than Yao obviously believes he can play again. Where's the risk in a 3 million dollar try?

Worst news ever. Keeping the Rockets guessing from year to year in eternal suspension is like a never ending nightmare. The best thing is for Yao to retire. Stop the madness.

if he is willing to take the minimum and play a bench role, it's low risk

I love the passion, commitment and loyalty, but Yao, I am concerned you may never walk normally again. Look at your own well being. 10 years from now you may have trouble just walking.

You did what you can. You did things at 7'6" that no man may ever be able to do.

That comparison worked 3 years ago.
