Not to divert the attention from the fanboy war, but Kobe's doin' work early on. Impressed with the early energy from Chalmers too.

Love Ron, but he's just a massive liability on the offensive end now.

Did I hear Marv Albert right? There is a large contingent of Laker fans in the arena?

This is true nearly everywhere. Believe it or not, same for the Knicks to a lesser extent.

it's miami. the knicks fans occupied half of the crowd last time. and lakers have the biggest fanbase among the NBA teams so it's not surprising.

lakers are in a very good groove right now. i'm very impressed with their interior defense. bynum is so huge defensively. if he can play like this, they have a great chance of winning it again

ok the bench will be coming in now for the heat. can they be a factor? can mike miller make an open shot? they have not shown up one bit for long stretches now.

the big 3, despite bosh's struggles, isn't really the problem (or one that can't be fixed easily)

The empty seats are disgraceful, but I've said many times Miami is a sorry sports town. But it's not just Miami. There were a lot of Lakers fans in Atlanta chanting "MVP" at Kobe earlier in the week. Conversely, Knicks fans show up strong every time they play in LA.

If Bynum stays healthy and plays with energy, the Lakers probably repeat. The Celtics were tailor made to beat them, but the trade messed them up.

Of course, Miami does not have good fans.

they're terrible NBA fans. lakers and heat are the 2 biggest NBA fanbases (and you can include the celtics).

it's not surprising that the lakers' best stretch coincides with bynum's resurgence. let's see if he can stay consistent.

their 3pt shots are going in at a decent rate right now. they couldn't buy a 3pt shot for weeks now.

when you have bron/wade, you need to make a decent amount of 3pt shots to keep the defense honest.

    Word.

I like the Heat, too... mainly because I want to see them make people eat crow. Don't have any good reason to hate them, either.

Latin Nights is the reason for the uniform colors.
