Not every Apple fan makes up garbage. Labeling everyone who likes Apple products as crazy is just dumb.
Looks like along with in store sales starting at 5pm, you can start ordering online from Apple at 3 am Central. Don't know how long that will be up, though. It might just be incompetence from whatever analyst they talked to. Or somebody got a single bad unit. Who knows. I believe Moto has stated Xoom standby time is 14 days IIRC. There has been mention of lots of instability with freezes and crashes from both Ars and Engadget's review though, so at least there's something to reference there.
Do you think the lines will be really long? We have two Apple stores here, and I'd like to pick up an iPad before my 9:30PM flight overseas tomorrow. Depending on how long the lines are, it might be cutting it close.
Why? Google RUSHED the OS. Xoom is the first device with it. You don't know what problems pop up after extended usage. Tech reviewers maybe had a week, maybe 2 with it.
No one except the guy who claims the battery sometimes lasts 2 hiurs ha claimed that it is riddled with problems.
I have an iPod Touch so I don't think I am doing that. I am saying the "fans" are going a little off the deep end.
Believe me, I know a lot of Apple "fans" and they love their iPhones/etc to death. None of them give a care about Android or about slandering their products. They just feel Apple's stuff is better (for them). The Apple lovers who try to trash competitng products are a small vocal minority. They are more tech-savvy than the average Apple lover and can be very annoying on chat forums & the internet. For some reason, they have adopted Apple like a sports team and actually care about Google and Microsoft being rivals to their beloved. But these homers aren't why Apple is successful because there aren't enough of them. People like my sister other friends I have love Apple's stuff but have nothing at all against Google. They are more representative of the typical Apple fan.
Absolutely, this blogger sounds misinformed. You would be better served leaving a comment on his blog rather than attributing his statements to Apple fans here.
why the weird 5pm time? has it been like that in the past or is Jobs just experimenting on his cult to see if they'll do anything for some fresh Apple gadgetry?
